We have a whole lot more for the event to bring you here and we already had so much to show you. More for the upcoming Spider-Man, a little more for Darksiders III, the same footage for a few other games we had behind closed doors at E3, and much more. Darksiders III Will Bring The Original Crew Back Together Somehow
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 21st of August 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III is here from Gamescom as well as a new cinematic that brings the last two Darksiders protagonists back As was to be expected, Darksiders III has a whole lot more to show off out at Gamescom and one of the bigger things has to be a look at Death and War as they will be making a showing in Fury's story here. If you have been a fan of the franchise thus far, it does not come as a huge surprise that Gunfire Games would be adding the characters into the mix here as THQ Nordic did it in the last title too. Granted, they did it in a way where Death had to fight an incarnation of War in Darksiders II and not as a much more. Read More...

The Environmental Puzzles Of Darksiders III Have Been Evolving
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 31st of July 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders Another new look at Darksiders III is here to show us how the puzzles of Darksiders III will feel the same but play out very different It looks as if we all have time for one more video for Darksiders III here and this one takes us into the world of puzzles. Not an actual world in the game, but a look at how the team over at Gunfire Games has been slowly changing and evolving the puzzles in the world for us to try to figure out. Given that the franchise has never been a puzzle only title, it may sound a bit off to here, but in Darksiders III it looks like things have evolved to make more sense in the game world as well as add a new challenge to what we already know. They would need to do this in some way or the franchise would fizzle out before THQ Nordic can get to the fabled fourth chapter of the story… Anyways, we get a new commentary view of some of the old footage we have seen for Darksiders III already. Fury Flames Out In The Latest Footage For Darksiders III
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of July 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders A new video for Darksiders III is here to show us how Fury gets her flame from in the usual Darksiders manner We have seen a bit of Fury's Flame Form in the past for Darksiders III, but now it seems like it is time to spoil how she earns it in the game and it plays out much like you think. That is most likely why Gunfire Games was okay with sharing it as it lets us see how much more of a badass Fury will be in the game and also keep us engaged with THQ Nordic until November 27th when it launches. You know, because we would forget about Darksiders III before then and move on to the many other games out there for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

See The Wrath Of Darksiders III In Full-Blown Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of July 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III is here to show us another boss fight that we will have to take on when Wrath comes calling in Darksiders III There is still a bit of time before Darksiders III hits us on November 27th which means there is still a lot of time to have a look at more of the bosses that Gunfire Games has put together for us. We have seen Sloth so far in the past from THQ Nordic, and now we have a look at Wrath in the game and we can mark off one more of the sins we will see in action. I do hope that we do not get them all spoiled for us before Darksiders III finally hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but it is new gameplay to look at as well as some of the first of the voice work we will get to hear in the game. Darksiders III Will Take Us To The Hollows To Fight Lava Beasts
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of December 2017 - 10:00 PM ]
Darksiders A new gameplay snippet for Darksiders III is here and shows us a new location in Darksiders III and other creatures we will need to take down We finally have a bit more for Darksiders III to take a look at here as it seems like Gunfire Games has been a bit on the quiet side of things for the title lately. That or it has been THQ Nordic holding things back for unspecified reasons to build more anticipation for their game. Nonetheless, here we are with another small glimpse of the game with some more actual gameplay. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 5/15/17 — 5/19/17
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of May 2017 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here's a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week What a week in video games this has been. I personally thought that it was going to be another of the slow weeks given the proximity of the big E3 just about to hit us but then all of those developers and publishers opted to hit us with some really great stuff. I'm still reeling in the fact that South Park: The Fractured But Whole has an official release date and that we will be seeing the next Assassin's Creed title before the end of the fiscal year. Not only that, but we some a huge leap forward for video games with Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and we also managed to get our review out for The Surge here as well. Read More...

We Have New Darksiders III Concept Art & How The Game Has Evolved
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 18th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders More updates on Darksiders III have been revealed alongside some new, amazing looking Darksiders III concept art to flesh out the world We had some interesting updates for Darksiders III earlier in the week and here we go again with even more. Not only more but a whole lot of new looks at the game and just how Gunfire Games has taken the original franchise from THQ Nordic and altered it and evolved it into something fitting for the current generation of gamers but to keep up with the changing times. That and we have a look at more concept art for Darksiders III to give us a clue into what we could expect when the game does launch on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Hopefully sometime this year, but that date still needs to be worked out before we can confirm anything. Read More...

Darksiders III's Gameplay Gets A Bit More Of An Explanation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 15th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders Recently we had some gameplay for Darksiders III to look at and now we have some context for what it all means for Darksiders III and moving forward A little while back we had the announcement for Darksiders III and that was followed up pretty quickly with some of the first gameplay footage for the game to show it all off more than a cinematic trailer. While it was good to see where Gunfire Games was at with the game, it was not given much context and left a lot of things out there that, in my opinion, seemed to harm the franchise. The colors, art, and the combat for Darksiders III seemed to deviate from what we all know already and showed a bit of what THQ Nordic was paying for here. Read More...

Darksiders III Shows How Fury Can Get Rid Of Sloth
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of May 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
Darksiders New gameplay for Darksiders III has just been shown off and it gives us a look at how Darksiders III has progressed from the past titles Earlier in the week we saw that Darksiders III was going to be a thing like many of us had hoped. Usually when it comes to game reveals that is where everything is left and then we have to wait a bit to actually see any real gameplay. At least when we all get a reveal like we did for Darksiders III that only held a cinematic trailer and nothing else. It looks like Gunfire Games is going to skip that usual procession as now we have some gameplay to gaze upon as we wait for the THQ Nordic to give us the full release sometime next year. Read More...

It Is Time To Release Your Fury As Darksiders III Is Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of May 2017 - 05:00 PM ]
Darksiders Darksiders III has been officially announced after many Darksiders III leaks popped up in preparation for the full reveal of the game All of those hopes and prayers have been answered as Darksiders III has just been announced by THQ Nordic and is coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2018. Yes, this is not a drill or more wishful thinking based on the remasters we saw recently from Gunfire Games and such. I am sure that both remasters of the other Darksiders titles help push this along, but now we have it and now we have to wait. Read More...

We May Have A Release Date For The Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
According to Amazon we now have a release date for Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition as well as how much we will be paying for the HD version of Darksiders 2 and its DLC It looks like we now have a release date for the Darksiders 2: The Deathinitive Edition; at least if you want to take what Amazon currently has listed completely to heart. It's not like they were wrong before when they posted all of the other HD versions of Nordic Games' properties were coming. They did hit the head pretty well on the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition so I'll take it. Read More...

Our First Look At The Upgrades To The Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
We have the first batch of screen shots to compare Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition to the original Darksiders 2 version to see how far the game has evolved Not that long ago now we had the official announcement for the Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition coming from Gunfire Games to bring the franchise to a new generation of fans out there wanting to give the franchise a chance but only got into things at the start of the PS4 and Xbox One days. That wasn't too long ago but you know, money and the want to push the Darksiders franchise forward require a new version of Darksiders 2 to be pumped out there. I won't complain as it will give me another new reason to don the Death mask and hop back into the fun and amazing universe designed by Nordic Games; even though this is another HD remaster of sorts.
