Let's be honest, while it may be a little early to be talking sequel, all of us that played Left 4 Dead could bet the house that a second incarnation was certain. On November 17th, just 364 days after the first, Valve will release Left 4 Dead 2 for the Xbox 360 and PC. Left 4 Dead 2 takes place during the same zombie outbreak as the first game, but features a new pair of 4 survivors, Rochelle, Coach, Ellis, and Nick. While it wasn't quite clear what the new campaigns were apart from the fact that it will take place in the South US (the game starts in Savannah and ends in New Orleans), Scott Dalton, a level designer on the game, said that more of the story will be explored, including the reason for the outbreak. The boys from Bad Company are back and are in even more trouble as they face off in the cold Russian winter. While the focus of the Battlefield Bad Company series is certainly on the singleplayer campaign mode, the E3 demonstration was of a gold rush-style multiplayer map.Gold rush is essentially the same as it is from the first game, a team of attackers vs a team of defenders fighting over crates gold. While it is no longer called "gold rush" (the crates no longer contain gold) the objective is the same, secure and plant explosives on 8 crates (4 series of 2) or vice versa for the defenders.The multiplayer classes have been trimmed from 5 classes to 4 (support is no longer in the game), and while I prefer more classes (my favorite game in the series, Battlefield 2, has 7 playable classes with the option to play as the commander), I understand that it makes the game more accessible to gamers new to the series. Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Trailer and Screen Shots When the first game came out, EA was totally trying to show their lighter side with some pretty funny clips and shots from the game. Something that most of us got use to seeing and having a good laugh at to get us excited about the game. For some reason that is unknown to me, it would seem they are going a different route with this one. At least from the start. Or so Capcom thinks. Either way, anybody that picks up SFIV for the PC will get a MadCatz Fightpad for free. The game is priced a bit higher than most PC games at $59.99 but a $39.99 game plus a $39.99 fightpad is good enough for me. Gamers may wonder why MadCatz is so busy making PC fightpads when there is a shortage of console ones, but the fact is is that nobody wants to play Street Fighter with a mouse and keyboard (awaits barrage of ppl yelling at me that they play it on an emulator with a keyboard all the time).Capcom will release Street Fighter IV (Games for Windows Live for those that don't know) on July 7th here in the States. Japanese PSP game, Toradora! Portable, a visual novel game based on the anime Toradora!, has managed to shock and please numerous otaku. Sankaku Complex reported earlier that when one completes Taiga's Scenario in game to 100% completion, you are greeted with a rather surprise ending. Fans come to the realization that Taiga is in fact pregnant with Ryuji's child. There are other scenarios available to complete with two other characters, Ami and Minorin, but no word on how they end as of yet. Toradora! Read More...

More Dead Space Extraction Screens Just when the buzz started to die down about this Wii Rail Shooter, Dead Space: Extraction, EA throws a few more screen shots out at us. Not the best way to generate that buzz back up about the game, but it is a good way to keep the slight vibrations of it going just a little bit longer until the big pay off. Peggle makers PopCap has a nice add-on to allow your play Peggle in the game World of Warcraft.  Now this is not going to be good for me and here’s why. I love World of Warcraft. Finally we get the word on the release date for Banjo Tooie on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The bear and birds second adventure will be out next week on Wednesday the 29th for probably the same amount as the original Banjo Kazooie, 1200 Microsoft Points ($15)The game will allow you to swop any of the hidden eggs you found in Banjo Kazooie at Heggy's Hen for brand new moves that were not on the original N64 version. Today Valve released downloadable content on both the PC and the Xbox 360.  Called the Survival Pack, the DLC provides new campaign maps for the Versus Mode and an entirely new gameplay option, Survival Mode.  Also included are various patches and fixes to improve the overall gameplay by covering up the glitches and bugs found in the game post-release.  In Versus Mode, teams of players take turns being the survivors trying to escape and the special infected bent on stopping them.  The addition of new campaigns has been widely sought by the community at large.
