by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of August 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
No More Heroes The alien superheroes for No More Heroes 3 is out there as we gear up for the next No More Heroes release soon Things are getting weird for No More Heroes 3 with the introduction of the full roster of the aliens we will be slicing through in the game. Not that things are not weird in the game since the first time Grasshopper Manufacture brought the IP to us so long ago. With the launch of No More Heroes 3 on August 27th for the Switch, though, it is nice to get a look at all of the enemy bosses we will have to take on in the game to climb the ranks of the organizations one more time. Fans of the IP will know where this is all going but new gamers will just have to dive in and hold on for all of the weird once more. Read More...

You're Either Killing Or You're Dying In The New Let It Die Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2014 - 07:01 PM ]
A new trailer for Let It Die has been released in the preempt to the Tokyo Game Show and it has a bit of gameplay mixed in If there was one trailer that confused the heel out of me at E3 this year it was Let It Die from Grasshopper Manufacture. After looking into the game a bit more I am still a bit lost for this upcoming Free To Play PS4 title. Well PS4 with the ability to use a companion app for your smartphones. It looks like there is a new trailer to try and shed a bit of light on Let It Die straight from the pre-show for the Tokyo Game Show and we have it here just below. Read More...

Killer Is Dead Trailer
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 21st of January 2013 - 09:58 PM ]
The guys over at Grasshopper Manufacture have released the first trailer for their upcoming game titled Killer Is Dead. The trailer features a lot of blood and a lot of Japanese language. Thankfully there are subtitles. Killer is Dead is about a thirty-five year old assassin named "Mondo Zappa." Mondo works for an undercover organization called "Brian Execution Firm." The firm sends Mondo across a "near-future Earth" where space tourism and Cybernetics are the norm, and where Mondo must execute a crap load of criminals. Cyborgs, Androids, and Sword Play? Review: Black Knight Sword
by Matt Waitt [ Friday, 21st of December 2012 - 07:35 PM ]
Where do I start with Black Knight Sword? The Monty Python inspired art style? The odd and unique story? Or how about the challenging difficulty that I thought had long since been forgotten? Yeah, let's start with how hard Black Knight Sword is. Black Knight Sword has three difficulties: Easy, Normal and Hard but it feels more like "Normal, Hard, and Good Luck." It is not the mechanics, nor the controls that makes Black Knight Sword so difficult, no, not at all. It is the strategically placed enemies, the learning curve they demand from you, and the boss fights that will eat you up and spit you out. Read More...

Lollipop Chainsaw Has Some Crazy Threesome Action
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of April 2012 - 10:04 PM ]
While I am sure all of your minds went straight to some crazy ass sex scene for Lollipop Chainsaw, I am talking about the threesome that is the Starling Sisters. Ok, well that also didn't come out sounding right either and you all probably went somewhere very twisted and pornographic again. For shame. But what I am talking about here is that a trailer for the game was just released and it showcases how the three sisters will interact in the game. Well kind of shows how they will interact in the story but not game play. Read More...

PAX East Hands-On: Lollipop Chainsaw
by Matt Waitt [ Monday, 9th of April 2012 - 04:36 PM ]
During PAX East I got to get some playtime with Lollipop Chainsaw and interviewed the legendary Suda 51. Lollipop Chainsaw had some very smooth and tight controls, chaining attacks between kicking and swinging the chainsaw was simple enough to button mash if you wish, but at the same time complex enough to satisfy those who frown upon the mashing of buttons. The demo started off in a farm-like area, where some good ol' zombies popped up and begged for me to slay them (not really, but I could tell they were asking for it). Every time zombies pop up there is a counter on-screen that tells you exactly how many are there and need to kill. Read More...
