Slender: The Arrival Arriving Soon On Consoles
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Slender: The Arrival is bringing its brand of horror to the PS3 and Xbox 360 before the end of September It's been almost a year since Slender: The Arrival released on Steam and well over a year for the release before that. To be honest I never was able to get caught up in the fun of Slenderman being that I am primarily a console player. Boo and hiss all you want but that won't change things for me right now. What is changing though is that Slender: The Arrival is being brought over to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 23rd so now all of us gamers can experience what the phenomenon is all about. Looks Like Mortal Kombat X Will Let Us Kill The Tax Season Blues
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A release date and pre-order bonus for Mortal Kombat X has been announced and it is looking downright amazing Here we have it, the Mortal Kombat X release date. We now know when we should be getting to get back into the gut ripping action and it is now set for April 14th 2015. At least in the NA region for now but if history serves the EU and other regions should only need to wait a few days until they can have Scorpion or Goro dismembering them limb from limb. Or controlling said characters on their console of choice. Wait a second… Goro isn't an announced character for Mortal Kombat X is what I am sure you were thinking if you didn't look up and see the image or embedded tweet below. Read More...

All of the basics of Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer are explained in the most recent trailer released from Sledgehammer and Activision Last month Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's multiplayer was shown off to the public during the Gamescom event. Everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about what was shown even though it was only the tip of the iceberg, so to say. Obviously be who we all are we want to see more of the gameplay, modes, customization, and kills coming in the next Call Of Duty. The next bit of wait time is over now as we have a nice long look at the multiplayer just a bit lower down the page. Read More...

Atari Is Bringing Yet Another Re-Imagining With Haunted House: Cryptic Graves
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 2nd of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
It looks like Atari is re-imagining yet another title to bring to PC and this time it is Haunted House: Cryptic Graves If you have no idea what Haunted House: Cryptic Graves is, don't fret. It is most likely well before your time when the original title from Atari was released, 1982, so you may not have a point of reference for Haunted House: Cryptic Graves. That is okay though as we do have a nice little teaser trailer for the re-imaging of the game that is slated to release this Fall on PC. It sure looks a lot creepier than the original 2600 version of the game way back in the day. Read More...

See How Natural The Movement Of Dying Light Truly Is
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new developer diary for Dying Light has been released to lead into PAX Prime with and to show off the freedom of movement that the game allows for It's that time again to dig into the mechanics of another title and this time it is Dying Light's free movement and how it has evolved from the original design. Like for instance the fact that it was going to be simulated free movement at the beginning until the level design was too bogged down and still didn't feel fully free. I bet you didn't unless you jumped down to the Dying Light dev. Read More...

The Kickstarter campaign for Eminence: Xander's Tales is up and running with the game being much more than just Triple Triad It's been a couple months since we first spoke on Eminence: Xander's Tales. This is that Triple Triad mobile title coming from Aeterna Studios and by mobile I'm talking iOS with Android down the line. Well it looks like the Kickstarter page for this is now up and running with the hopes of moving Eminence: Xander's Tales to PC and consoles. I'm guessing PS3 and Xbox 360 but that is all stretch goals for now. Read More...

Night Trap Is Getting ReVamped… As Long As We All Help
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The creators of Night Trap are looking to bring us all the game for a new generation via Kickstarter campaign Some of you may not be old enough to remember Night Trap or the Sega CD for that matter. Hells, I wasn't even enough years into my life cycle at the time to play Night Trap by the ESRB standards now when I first dove into the game back in 1992. I guess that is a point in the corner for the game helping spawn the ratings board due to the fact that back then "all video games were for kids." At least that was the mentality and it was truthfully a key factor in my want to get into the gaming industry. Read More...

Become An Agent Of The Inquisition With The Dragon Age: Inquisition Multiplayer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 28th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Multiplayer is now a feature in Dragon Age: Inquisition and we have a new trailer to show off how BioWare and EA are implementing it into the game Yea, you read that right; Dragon Age: Inquisition is getting multiplayer mixed into the game. To be honest I am surprised that it took this long to get a multiplayer option into the franchise as it seems like it would be a decent fit. At least that is how I saw it back in the Origins day as the game played a lot like other titles that had a good multiplayer mixed in for the genre. I guess BioWare and EA wanted to make sure the franchise felt different and are just no getting around to adding in a touch of multiplayer. Read More...

The Release Date For Escape Dead Island Has Been Unraveled
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 27th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A new trailer for Escape Dead Island has been released from Fatshark and Deep Silver with a release date mixed in It's only been a few days now since we brought you a few new looks at Escape Dead Island. We pondered on the release date for the game and now it looks like we will all be getting to Escape Dead Island on our PS3, Xbox 360, or PC on November 18th. A little late for Halloween but that most likely means that Fatshark wasn't being rushed to meet the horror month deadline for their new take on the Dead Island franchise. Not that we won't be plagued with Zombies and Aliens already during that time. Read More...

You Can't Escape These New Escape Dead Island Screenshots
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of August 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A few new screenshots for Escape Dead Island have popped up online and it looks like there is a fan favorite in the mix If there is one title still to come this year that I am overly excited for it is Escape Dead Island from Fatshark and Deep Silver. At SDCC the game looked like so much fun with an amazing twist on the franchise as a whole. All that said, you best know that I would get all tickled red when a few new screen shots crop up for all of us to gander and speculate over. That is just what we have a bit lower on the page for you at that. Read More...

There Is A New FAQ To Try And Quell the Rise Of The Tomb Raider Exclusivity
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 25th of August 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Over the weekend there was a new FAQ posted to the official Rise Of The Tomb Raider Tumblr to try and explain what is going on with the platform exclusivity A few weeks back there was a huge stir as to if Rise Of The Tomb Raider was ever going to see the light of day on anything other than the Xbox One or Xbox 360 come the holiday season of 2015. The announcement of everything sure made it sound like it was not in the books at all that we would get to see the Tomb Raider again on the PS3, PS4, or PC. At least in the guise of the amazing reboot that Crystal Dynamics has already given all of the platforms out there. Read More...
