Just in case you were not satisfied playing one of Handsome Jack's vault hunters in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel it looks like Gearbox and 2K are going to give us all a chance to play as the maniacal tyrant-in-training. That's right! On November 11th we'll all be able to pick up the Handsome Jack Doppelganger Pack for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel so we can add Mr. Jack into the mix of playable characters in the game. You know because this is something that everyone and their sister's cousin's former roommate's uncle have wanted in a Borderlands game for like ever now. Right?
None the less for those with a season pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel or those willing to shell out an additional $9.99 USD you will be able to have the doppelganger pack which will let you play as a version of Handsome Jack as he wouldn't be caught dead in the mix of things. While not fully Jack in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel you will still have access to Skill Trees and wrist lasers to join in the fight. Also as he is a megalomaniac and such as he picks up cash in the game 'Jack' will also get buffs to show off how powerful he really is even though we are only playing a doppelganger of him while he is away safely somewhere else.
Yes this is a way to make sure that story continuity isn't broken in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel since Jack will have never been in any danger but it is also a way to let you have a feel of the evil that spawned this character. If anything it will let you have the rush of being a maniac out for fun and profit in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. It could be more but I think it is just the right level of add-on for us all to pick up and enjoy. It also paves the way for hopefully a few more DLC characters to get added in as we wait for the next big addition to the Borderlands universe.
