Posse Up!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of February 2009 - 09:16 PM ]
Spore Galactic Adventures Now that we have all had a chance to play Spore and get our little single-celled organisms up to the point where they can leave their home planet and fly around the universe, what is next to do? I mean you could go through it all again making yet another set of creatures that look very phallic in nature. You could go through all that hassle, but wouldn't you rather take you creatures and do something with them? You know you want to. Read More...

EA Announces Dead Space Extraction Exclusive for the Wii Not to long ago it was brought up that there was going to be a Wii port of Dead Space. Well this was only partial true and based off of reports from an interview. But today came the full on announcement about the Wii version of the game, or should I say the Wii prequel to the game. Yes, it'll be kind of like Resident Evil 0 on the GameCube for the game that came on so strong for the PS3, XBox, and PC. Remember a couple years back when they first announced the Black Mesa Mod and showed off all those beautiful screen shots but never really gave a release day? Well now we have one...sort of. In an Interview with Screen Plays project leader James "DexX" Dominguez, James says:I won't say anything more specific than "Late 2009". Like any developer, we want to squeeze as much awesome in as possible before we ship, but we won't withhold it any longer than absolutely necessary once it's done. Read More...

Now I'll Have To Buy The White Suit
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 3rd of February 2009 - 11:28 PM ]
Dead Space Wii Announced So completely out of left field, the guys over at Kotaku found some interesting news about Dead Space. It is slated to get a Wii port sometime in the 3rd quarter of this year. So like around Halloween I would guess. So I guess we'll get to actually move things around with the Kinetic gun with the WiiMote not to far off. I'm not sure if I should be excited for this or not. I have a feeling that it will be a crappy port, but I guess EA wants to hit all the markets they can. Read More...

PROTOTYPE #1 (OF 6) So a little while back, I hooked you up with some awesome pics and video of Activision's Prototype. One their new IPs out on multi-platforms. Well it looks like they are going to try to take a page from what, in my opinion, made Dead Space that much more awesome. Releasing it to multiple other forms of media to build up some momentum. As of right now, posted on DCComics.com, they are showing a 6 part comic line for this new game. Read More...

Online gamers in China must soon register with real names Before you think that we have it bad when it comes to privacy, take a look at things like this and think longer. It looks like the Chinese government is going to force gamers in the area to register with their real names. Not bad. But they must also provide their government issued code, think social security number for those in the states. All of this just to prove who you are and so you can play. Now here is the good question, why are they doing this? Read More...
