Ubisoft has just announced a new collection of titles for the Assassin's Creed franchise titled the Birth Of A New World - The American Saga launch before the newer titles Just in case you didn't think you were going to get enough Assassin's Creed this year with Unity and Rogue launching in November it looks like there is another set of titles coming just weeks before the one-two punch of those titles. With Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag less than a week away from launch it's high time that the advertising and promotion trains get a rolling. Not that they haven't already with all the 'parkour' and free running videos abound as well as armor/weapon smithing of the in game items. With Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag releasing in the next couple weeks it is about time for us to get to know the main character Edward Kenway. It makes sense as we will all be spending many hours controlling his every move while he plunders the Caribbean upon the Jackdaw. Lucky for us Ubisoft has put out a new trailer full of cut scene and game play to help us get a feel for this scalawag. Earlier this month we had the official announcement of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with not much to go on other than the time period of the story and the culture it is based around. During the reign of Blackbeard and pirates for those who are just now following along. No matter which you are, we now have a bit of game play from Black Flag and it looks like Ubisoft is trying to focus on the naval combat that debuted back in ACIII not so very long ago. It also looks like we will get to punch sharks in the gills during underwater scenes of the game, so there is also that. It has been made official; Assassin's Creed IV is coming just about a year after AC3 has landed. It was originally rumored with the below trailer teasing it last week, but since the cat was let out of the bag it looks like Ubisoft isn't keeping it hidden any more. The video is now to be considered the official announcement of AC4 along with the release date of November 1st 2013. That adds another title to the PS4's launch lineup it would seem.
