Guacamelee 2 Has Been Set Down With A Solid Release Date Now

Guacamelee The release date for Guacamelee 2 has now been set and fans of the Guacamelee titles will be able to play the game this coming August It has been a long time coming, but now we have the release date for Guacamelee 2 set down and surprisingly not too far off from now. If you thought that Drinkbox Studios was going to make us all wait a crazy long time for the game, then you are wrong as it looks like it will be hitting the PS4 and PC on August 21st now. Guacamelee 2 Has Been Announced & Is Coming Soon-ish

Guacamelee The announcement for Guacamelee 2 has finally come out of Paris Games Week and it looks like we could expect Guacamelee 2 soon-ish or whatever that means The title here pretty much says it all as Guacamelee 2 has been officially announced out of Paris Games Week and according to the trailer we have, it will be out on the PS4 soon-ish. I say the PS4 at least here a Drinkbox Studios has yet to confirm if it will be coming to the Xbox One or PC at some point. I am going to guess that it will and at worst Guacamelee 2 could be a timed exclusive, but that all boils down to where money gets thrown around. Read More...

PAX East Impressions: Guacamelee!

This weekend I got to sit down with Graham Smith the co-founder of Drinkbox Studios. He showed me Drinkbox's new game Guacamelee! and I must say it's a nice blend of classic Metroidvania style action and Megaman style platforming. Guacamelee! has a 'dual world' feature where you have to jump through portals to navigate the levels. These two worlds are called The World of the Living and The World of the Dead. You will come across enemies that are shrouded in shadow that cannot be attacked, as they are in the other world, but simply jumping in a portal will allow you to defeat said enemy. Read More...
