Dive Into The Madness Of Hellblade With Its New Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
The first bit of gameplay for Hellblade has been released as well as a bit on Hellblade's story and how it will be looking at mental illness We've been waiting a while for Hellblade to have some gameplay to show off and now the wait is over. The first gameplay trailer is here just in time for E3 and to go along with it and its amazingness Ninja Theory is also giving a taste of what the game's story is going to be all about. I have yet to be let down by a single game that they have brought to market and given what is shown below and talked about Hellblade does not look like it is going to end that streak. I think it has to do with the team always seeming to try and have some thought provoking elements in their games, even if the original story is lifted from other sources, and Hellblade is looking to actually tackle one of my favorite issues with humanity: Mental Illness. Because We Need More LEGO Games We Have LEGO Marvel's Avengers
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Not to discriminate in the LEGO games we now have LEGO Marvel's Avengers announced and coming later this winter from TT Games If you were sitting around wondering if we could cram one more LEGO video game in this year then let me answer that with yes and it is LEGO Marvel's Avengers. Don't let the title fool you here though as it isn't just a LEGO version of the first Avengers film but LEGO Marvel's Avengers is a combination of both of the Avengers films in one. A lot like LEGO Jurassic World and being a combination of all four of the films in the franchise. None the less it looks like TT Games has either mastered the craft to churn out LEGO games or they have been breaking themselves like crazy to get all of these titles, LEGO Marvel's Avengers included, out in 2015. Don't fret though as we are still getting a Mirror's Edge title as EA and DICE have promised in the past but in this instance it looks like the franchise is getting rebooted in sorts. All in the way of Mirror's Edge Catalyst. That is the name of the game so you can go back to holding your breath for anything else about it. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 9th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Just before E3 it looks like Microsoft has some new hardware in the way of a 1TB Xbox One and a new Xbox One wireless controller Usually Microsoft waits until their big E3 showcase to announce anything new with their hardware but it looks like we are getting a new Xbox One announcement a little early. Almost a week earlier than if it was during the normal show but I'll take it. Especially when it comes down to us getting a 1TB Xbox One. Read More…

Go Under Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
A new look at Batman: Arkham Knight's Red Hood DLC has been released and it shows a bit more why Batman: Arkham Knight is rated M for Mature now If you are looking to squeeze all the story you can out of Batman: Arkham Knight then you might want to look into pre-ordering the game to make sure you have most of it from day one. Yes, Rocksteady has talked about pumping out more story DLC as the cycle of Batman: Arkham Knight pushes on but it looks like the Red Hood DLC for the game is a GameStop exclusive. Spin up the sad trombone music as yes, you did read that and now you can go into the age old debate of wanting to pre-order there or pick up Batman: Arkham Knight elsewhere and hope that Warner Bros. A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games What a week we have had in video games here huh? We had Fallout 4 officially announced. We had XCOM 2officially announced. We had a whole lot of Batman: Arkham Knight news and videos. We even were able to get a whole bunch more on some new video game characters in the way of Overwatch and Drawn To Death. All of those characters have yet to be seen in a video games as of yet so they are all knew to us and deserving of the time. Gotham's Night Life Is Brutal In Batman: Arkham Knight
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
Another Arkham Insider has been released to detail more about Batman: Arkham Knight and this time it is a look at how Batman has changed to fight said Arkham Knight The days are fleeting away as we get closer to the release of Batman: Arkham Knight. That is good for two reasons. One of which being that our PS4, Xbox One, and/or PC will be full of all kind of Batman goodness real soon. The other reason being that Rocksteady really wants to show off Batman: Arkham Knight and that means more and more to look at as we wait. Hopefully not more to spoil all of the fun on June 23rd but that is why you always get the option to skip these spoiler type videos and sit on your laurels and wait for Batman: Arkham Knight all by your lonesome. Let's Get To Know Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 5th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The first major character bio for Drawn To Death has been released out to the world and it details Drawn To Death's Johnny Savage with moves and a bit of backstory Up until now we have had a very basic story and character breakdown for Drawn To Death. Bartlet Jones has given us some between last year's PSX show and now but nothing too substantial. I'm guessing this is partly because they were still working on all of the kinks and partly because they wanted to have something amazingly over the top to show off at E3. This is the company's first big title and as it is an exclusive on PS4 Drawn To Death has a lot to deliver for us all. Read More…

The Rumors Are True For Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 4th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
One of the worst kept secrets in the way of Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection has been confirmed and will house all of the Uncharted goodness As it has been said, we asked for it and now we are getting it; Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is coming and it will be a PS4 remastering of all of the titles in the console franchise of Uncharted. Note I said console franchise as Bluepoint Games is only doing the work for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The Vita game is going to be left on the sidelines for now but I am sure that Naughty Dog will do what was done for God Of War and their mobile games at some point. Read More…

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 3rd of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Earlier it was announced that XCOM 2 is coming from Firaxis Games and 2K Games after a lengthy feeling teaser campaign What many thought was a possible BioShock teaser from 2K Games has finally turned out to be none other than XCOM 2. Yes, we are finally getting a full on sequel to the franchise that is going to build off XCOM: Enemy Unknown. It looks like Firaxis Games is looking to ignore The Bureau and just move on with the whole story. Most likely a good move here but we are not going to focus on what XCOM 2 is not going to be.
