by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 29th of March 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan The release window for Man Of Medan is set down for this Summer and we have a new look at the dangerous waters of Man Of Medan It looks like more horror is on its way this Summer as it looks like Man Of Medan has been given that new window for release. That could mean so much as it is a fairly open window, but it is what Supermassive Games has placed down there now. All of which comes from the latest developer diary for Man Of Medan where they also go into the waters and boats used in the game and how they captured it all. Spoiler alert, they used real boats and water wake to do it all then stripped it apart to mix in properly. Read More...

Last time we had a chance to see how Supermassive Games took inspiration and audio to craft a horrifying location, now we get to see just how some of it was put to use in the game and other aspects we may not have seen just yet. Specifically as it all comes to the decay and reclamation of the ship that is happening in Man Of Medan. The reclamation being that of nature and the sea and what happens to large hunks of metal when left out there for too long. Read More...

Walk Around The Ghost Ship Of The Dark Pictures’ Man Of Medan
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of November 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
Man Of Medan A new developer diary for Man Of Medan is here to take us on a bit of a tour of the ghost ship we will be exploring in Man Of Medan There is no doubt that Man Of Medan has already looked like a dark and horrific experience we will all be having. All in the best of ways, but it is shaping up to be one of the dark horror film-like video games I have seen to date on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Given the work we have seen from Supermassive Games in the past, it is not a huge surprise there. That is why it is always nice to see behind the curtain of how they make their games and have a new behind-the-scenes video for Man Of Medan to build us up and get excited for this new anthology called The Dark Pictures. Man Of Medan A new trailer for Man Of Medan shows off a bit more of the horrors waiting us and also how the story of Man Of Medan will play out and narrated There are still a whole lot of questions floating around out there for Man Of Medan since it was announced, and it looks like we get very few answers in the way of it all with the latest trailer. That is unless your question was along the lines of how Supermassive Games was going to narrate the tales along the way. Based on the latest video we have here for The Dark Pictures – Man Of Medan, it looks to play out just as we have seen in their past title. Read More...

There Will Be A Whole Lot To Fear In The Inpatient
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of January 2018 - 10:00 PM ]
The Inpatient A new teaser for The Inpatient is here to show off just how The Inpatient will feel and what kinds of fears we can expect to see In a few weeks, those gamers out there who happen to have a nice PS VR will get to experience what The Inpatient has in store for them. Those who do not will be left to wonder what Supermassive Games has crafted and came up with before Until Dawn in terms of story. It is weird to have an exclusive on an exclusive given that not all PS4 owners have gone VR just yet, but The Inpatient could be one of those titles that causes a shift and more players to drop their hard-earned cash. Unless they are all cool with either missing out or watching what is going on through non-VR videos out there of other people playing the game. Read More...

The Inpatient Is Aiming To Bring You Deeper Into The Immersion
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 14th of December 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
The Inpatient A new behind the scenes video for The Inpatient is here to show us just how much further into the experience The Inpatient will take us besides just VR It is no surprise that games like The Inpatient are aiming to give us all the best immersion that we can hope for on the PS VR. That is kind of one of the things that VR is all about, but it looks like there was a lot more for this game than Supermassive Games had to show earlier on. At least out of the demos I have played, but come January 23rd it looks like we are all going to have even more reasons to give The Inpatient a go as they have many other hidden gems mixed in to bring the immersion level to an all-time high. At least for this title and on the PS4, but still it is a pretty solid feat to have accomplished when you look at it. Read More...

The Inpatient The Inpatient has been given a release date now and we can also see part of The Inpatient's story leading up to this intense VR psychological thriller title If you can think back to E3 and remember when The Inpatient was announced for the PS VR, you are already one-step ahead of everyone else here. E3 Hands On — The Inpatient
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 14th of June 2017 - 07:00 PM ]
The Inpatient While at E3 I was able to see The Inpatient in a more intimate setting than just a trailer. Here's my take on The Inpatient. Here we go with another interesting title that was shown off during the big PlayStation media showcase and it is The Inpatient. Not much was known for this title before or even after the event outside of the trailer and that it is is another title coming from Supermassive Games for the PS VR set up. Also, as of this time it is only a PS VR title so keep that in mind as I break down my experience with The Inpatient in one of the hidden floors of the E3 show floor booths. Well, not so hidden but hard to get to as it was a rather long demo for the show here, but I am digressing from the actual hands on. Read More...

See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood Bring Terror To Life
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 8th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new developer diary for Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood has been released and it shows just how Until Dawn is going to enter the VR realms and what the team has done We are getting ever closer to the release of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood as the PlayStation VR system is on the verge as well. I've personally played the demo that Supermassive Games had put together a few times and see a few other videos of how the game has progressed. It looks like it could be a great VR experience but I'm still not sure if it should share the Until Dawn name and just be a hodgepodge of all of their titles. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. Until Dawn Gets A Rush Of Blood But Not In The Way You May Think
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn During the press briefing at the Paris Games Week Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was announced and bringing more Until Dawn to VR With the great success and reception for Until Dawn it is not that big of a shocker that gamers wanted more for the game. Hells, some even went as far as petitioning Supermassive Games to get some form of VR support in the game with the PlayStation VR. Wouldn't you know that at the Paris Games Week media briefing such a thing was announced in the way of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood. A completely new experience looking to expand everything we loved about Until Dawn further on the PS4. Read More...

Try And Survive Until Dawn With Only Your Ears
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Especially since it looks like Until Dawn will have some kind of clout during October with the PS4 game proper and a new little experience. Read More...
