This Week In Video Games 1/29/24 — 2/2/24
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Saturday, 3rd of February 2024 - 12:00 AM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was definitely one of those weeks where things were all over the place for the various video games we had to talk about. Almost as all over the place as the early launch for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League that happened. That and the waiting until the last moment to get that promised gameplay for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2. Thankfully it was capped off with other video games like Judas and the Silent Hill 2 remake getting some big info drops and videos to enjoy. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of February 2024 - 06:00 PM ]
Until Dawn The remaster for Until Dawn is no longer a rumor as we have a confirmation Until Dawn will be coming out again this year It is a rumor no more, as we have the official look at the remaster for Until Dawn on the PS5 and PC is on the way. A new version of the massive hit that Supermassive Games put out there in the world almost a decade ago, now with Ballistic Moon helming the remaster to give us a version of the game worthy of the current systems we are gaming on. Hopefully, you do not remember the story of Until Dawn or just want to have another reason to see some massive actors live or die in a video game that you get to direct. See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood Bring Terror To Life
by Julia Schoebel [ Thursday, 8th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new developer diary for Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood has been released and it shows just how Until Dawn is going to enter the VR realms and what the team has done We are getting ever closer to the release of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood as the PlayStation VR system is on the verge as well. I've personally played the demo that Supermassive Games had put together a few times and see a few other videos of how the game has progressed. It looks like it could be a great VR experience but I'm still not sure if it should share the Until Dawn name and just be a hodgepodge of all of their titles. Read More...

CES 2016 Hands On — Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 8th of January 2016 - 06:00 PM ]
Rush Of Blood While At CES I Was Able To See Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood It was only announced a few months ago but Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was one of the huge titles on display at CES 2016 in Sony's VR section of their booth. PlayStation didn't have a huge section this year but this Supermassive Games spin off from the main title was one of the bigger things for the PS4 and PlayStation VR here. Lines were up to an hour and a half long to play the ten minute demo of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood and I braved it just for you so I could let you know how the game is shaping up for all of us. Video Games The year has ended and video games need listing so here is our top list of video games that released during 2015 or at least concluded during the year It has been one great year in video games with a lot of great releases. There have also been a few great stinkers over the year but because I am feeling a bit saucy over here I think it is time to give out the list of best video games encountered over the year. In fact the top eleven video games that I experienced and in some cases reviewed. We could have copped out and done a basic top ten list but who wants something half-assed? Read More...

Until Dawn Gets A Rush Of Blood But Not In The Way You May Think
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 27th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn During the press briefing at the Paris Games Week Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood was announced and bringing more Until Dawn to VR With the great success and reception for Until Dawn it is not that big of a shocker that gamers wanted more for the game. Hells, some even went as far as petitioning Supermassive Games to get some form of VR support in the game with the PlayStation VR. Wouldn't you know that at the Paris Games Week media briefing such a thing was announced in the way of Until Dawn: Rush Of Blood. A completely new experience looking to expand everything we loved about Until Dawn further on the PS4. Read More...

Try And Survive Until Dawn With Only Your Ears
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 8th of October 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn A new 'experience' for Until Dawn has been released into the wild that uses Binaural Audio to try and place you in the world of Until Dawn with only your ears to help Until Dawn has been out for six weeks now. Crazy to think about that isn't it? It's also crazy to think about the fact that Supermassive Games missed the opportunity to have Until Dawn launch in October instead and use all of that horror drama for a good use around Halloween. I think Until Dawn would have sold even better than it already has and the reviews even stronger if it matched up but that doesn't change a thing here. Especially since it looks like Until Dawn will have some kind of clout during October with the PS4 game proper and a new little experience. Read More...

Until Dawn Gets Another Trailer To Drive Home The Butterfly Effect
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of August 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
A new gameplay video for Until Dawn has been released to show more teenage death, horror, and the butterfly effect we'll play with in Until Dawn As if yesterday's installment of teenage death and terror from Until Dawn wasn't enough we have yet another trailer for the game. Only this time it is a gameplay trailer for Until Dawn and not a live action one. It also happens to touch upon the butterfly effect again as this is something that Supermassive Games has been pushing since Until Dawn was changed over to a PS4 title. At least to my memory. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Another week in video games is down and we are gearing up for another. More reviews and more news for all kinds of video games to come. I truly love that we were able to bookend this week with Until Dawn and had quite a few other zombie type announcements with Zombi and Advanced Warfare DLC. That is also if we miss out on the world of video games getting Mafia 3 coming with more news next week on that. I guess there will be a lot more news during Gamescom but we'll all have to wait and see as the crowds descend on all of those video games being shown out there. Read More...

Listen To The Golden Horror Of Until Dawn's Soundtrack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 31st of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Until Dawn has officially gone gold and to celebrate we get to hear a bunch of the score used to make Until Dawn the horror fest we've been dying for You know it's been a good week when you can bookend it with great horror news like we have with Until Dawn here. We still have just under a month to wait, August 25th, before we get to experience Supermassive Games' latest title on the PS4 and from what I've seen and heard so far we shouldn't be let down. It looks like most of it is going to be solid and Until Dawn has finally hit gold status in the development cycle so now the waiting game takes place. I wish I had some other amazing horror title to play in the interim but for now we'll just have to go with the Until Dawn gameplay footage that is all of the net for now. Read More...

Get Siked As There Is Even More Until Dawn Gameplay To Look At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 27th of July 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
New gameplay for Until Dawn has been released from a preview build of the game and it is full of all the jump scares you could want in Until Dawn At the rate that we are getting new videos for Until Dawn we may not have much of a game left to play when it hits the PS4 on August 25th. At least that is how I am taking it from all of the stuff I've seen. That means I am also hoping that Supermassive Games has kept all the really juicy and bloody bits of this horror game under wraps until we are able to push past that date. Hopefully it makes sense but then again there are a lot of films and shows spoiled by all of the promo videos and teasers today thanks to the internet and cyber-sleuths out there. Read More...
