Rage Co-Op Gameplay

The upcoming new FPS from Id Software Rage has another new trailer out. This time showcasing the Water Service mission with some great Co-Op. The trailer shows off the usual with Co-operative game play; Work together to win. It seems Id has implemented a bit of competition as well with a combo and point system and a sense of urgency with the whole mission being timed. Complete a step of the objective and you will be rewarded for more time. At the end of the trailer they show off a little bit of the Teammate reviving mechanic, which is always a nice addition to a co-op game. Read More...

Borderlands 2 Game Play Footage

So I was surfing around YouTube and came across this amazing fourteen minute long sneak peak of Borderlands 2. Just watching the first five minutes I was blown away by the unprecedented amount of changes to the game; Completely revamped menu system that is all in-world and amazing improvements of enemy AI, they actually climb walls and jump over gaps to get to you. WarCorner: Blizzard Announces Vanity Pet Murkablo

Blizzcon is less than two months away and Blizzard has just announced that players who attend Blizzcon '11 on October 21st and 22nd at the Anaheim convention or those that pay $40 for the Pay Per View virtual ticket, will get the highly anticipated vanity pet Murkablo. It's like having a little Diablo in your Warcraft. Although this is not the first Diablo vanity pet found in World of Warcraft, as Mini-Tyrael was the pet given out at Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational back in 2008, it's still very exciting. We saw some brief video of this little fire breather back in June when a few data mining sites pulled him from the "depths of hell" and gave us a short preview. Read More...

Borderlands 2 Is Getting Chilly Too

Living in Vegas it is rare that we get to see snow. I'm talking real heavy snow. I personally hate the stuff but I do love the temperature that comes along side with snow. I do enjoy going outside on a nice brisk day where I can still wear short sleeves and not freeze my balls off. Much like the poster boy for Borderlands 2 as you will see below. How Do The PSP God Of War Titles Compare To PS3?

When I heard that Sony was going to bundle the two PSP God Of War titles, Chains Of Olympus and Ghost Of Sparta, for the PS3 I was a little upset. I already dropped the cash on these games for the PSP and the PS3 was already out. I thought then, why did they not just make these games on the PS3 and just make them downloadable or cheap disks? After seeing the below comparison, I am even more infuriated that I had to wait to get them in high definition and on my big screen at home. Batman Getting The Cold Shoulder In Arkham City

Here we go with yet another villain shown for Batman: Arkham City - Mr. Freeze. If you look below, you'll see the nice, shiny new trailer for this latest reveal. At first glance, it really just seems like another step to stop Bats from getting things under control. That is, until he begins to meander around like a smaller, frozen Big Daddy. It does look like Freeze will be adding a few new environmental challenges for Batman from the video. Most notably would have to be the freezing of ledges. Read More...

Borderlands 2 Announced And Playable

As has come to be the case lately, Borderlands 2 has been announced using Game Informer. The case I'm talking about is that 2K Games sent out no official press release and just used the magazine to spread the word. So everyone out there who doesn't have a subscription and/or doesn't want to pick up the magazine is SOL. You could also be like myself and still have yet to receive your copy in the mail. QuakeCon '11 Incoming

Let's start with "What is QuakeCon?", or as it has been known since 1996, the Woodstock of PC/LAN gaming. Hands down, one of the largest LAN parties of our generation. A celebration of all things Quake-oriented and bringing LAN gamers together onto one giant network. A gaming marathon that one will never forget from August 4th to 7th. Mortal Kombat No Longer The Dream You Want

So this threw me for kind of a loop at Comic Con. The fourth, and possibly final, DLC character announced for Mortal Kombat is Freddy Krueger. Not the rumored Green Lantern or some other comic super hero but the master of nightmares. Waterworks In The New Mortal Kombat DLC

The guys over at NetherRealm Studios have released a few trailers for their newest Mortal Kombat DLC character Rain. The trailers show off some of his back story, which is quite nice. Seems that after being orphaned from Shao-Khan's merciless army, the resistance adopted him and made him into a very powerful but arrogant warrior. After being denied a command position in the resistance he betrayed them and joined his mortal enemy, Shao-Khan. The trailers also shows off some very brutal combos and attacks that we can expect to dish out and sorely take to the face a couple dozen times. Read More...

The device can be purchased from the Blizzard online store or downloaded for free on your mobile device. With the Windows 7 Phone's recent release, and a new marketplace on the horizon for app development, where is our authenticator? WarCorner: Real ID Party Available For Testing

Blizzard a while back made mention that players would be able to group together (same faction) and be able to run through random dungeons together across servers. Crazy I know, but it is Blizzard. They have the technology and the man power to make such miracles happen. I got an e-mail today confirming just that. The Real ID Party system went into live testing today and players will be able to experience cross-realm game play with friends. How this works is players will be required to have the Real ID of their friends they want to play with and invite them into a group. Read More...

Batman Really Taking On Jigsaw In Arkham City Now

I do love the new direction that RockSteady has taken The Riddler, my second favorite villain, but I can't seem to look past the close similarities in the characters. They are both geniuses. They both like putting people in death traps. They both have a specific tone and method to their speaking. I guess the only real difference is that the new Riddler does it to prove to the world that he really is the smartest person alive. Anyways, if you haven't picked up on it yet, or skipped to the video, there is a new clip showcasing some of the personality behind The Riddle of Batman: Arkham City. It's been six years. Six years since World of Warcarft first came out. Recently we had patch notes and the release of 4.2 with Ragnaros back in full force. Exciting right?! Gears Of War 3 Leaked Online?!?

Epic games are pissed and they are out for blood. I'm sorry if you leaked out one of my most anticipated games for 2011 I would be pretty ticked off myself. Two months before release videos on youtube.com for Gears Of War 3 are popping up all over the place. Not only that, the videos are of the full single player campaign and some of the multiplayer options. This is very reminiscent of the Crysis 2 PC leak that happened not too long ago.
