In case you didn't get enough of the For-PSN-Only reality show The Tester, it was officially announced at E3 that Sony is doing a second season. Not exactly a big surprise, it was slipped into the other PlayStation news as just another bullet point. I mean, all the PS3 fans and users had to figure it was coming as it made some of the largest draws into PS Home and on the PS Store. This is not what this article is all about. A few weeks ago Spike TV posed this question to God of War fans all over North America with a casting call for their show God of War: The Last Titan Standing. A show that was designed to place true God of War fans into the action of the game by recreating some challenges Kratos endured in his epic story. On top of the challenges, this enabled these lucky individuals to be amongst the first in the world - sans media and the developers - to actually play God of War III. You know, with Sony flaunting their wand, Microsoft showcasing Natal, and Nintendo - well, doing what Nintendo does, I should not be as impressed with following video. But I am, and I am more excited about this than any project proclaimed by the previous companies. I see so much more in this than the horrible advertisement videos that Microsoft produces for Natal. This is a demo for some very cool augmented reality technology - watch it, and then tell me that you'd rather play "Microsoft Presents: Avatar Kickball Powered by Natal" more than this. Making Getting A Job Testing Games A Game

We all have heard it before. What would be the best job for a gamer? Playing/Testing games is generally the answer. I'm a fan of paid to just live, but hey, that's not going to be likely. Also not the point here. Yesterday (9/3/09), Sony and the SCEA Studios are giving gamers just that chance. The chance to be one of their game testers for at least a year.
