Here Is A Short Tease Of What Will Be Shown At E3 For Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Hideo Kojima gives us a minute and a half tease of what we will be seeing for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain out of E3 next week There has been no shortage of teases that we would be getting a small look at Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain before E3. Those have only been followed by the news of how big and "hard to watch" the actual gameplay footage at E3 will actually be. As a man of his word, Hideo Kojima has given us just that with the following teaser video showing nothing but gameplay for The Phantom Pain. The biggest thing to take away here is that we will be back to hiding in cardboard boxes again. Read More...

Looks Like We Get To Go Through 'The Creepy Door' In The Wolf Among Us
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 22nd of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The trailer for The Wolf Among Us episode four — In Sheep's Clothing has been released along with the release dates. I guess I spoke a bit too early on Tuesday when it came to The Wolf Among Us' next episode release. Either that or Telltale is trying to mash as much into the week of E3 as possible. No matter the case it looks like In Sheep's Clothing will be hitting the digital streets as early as next Tuesday (5/27). We also have a nice little trailer to showcase this off for you as well as a bit of what to expect in the next episode of The Wolf Among Us. Read More...

New Screen Shots For The Wolf Among Us Ep 4 Means Two Weeks Until The New Episode
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 20th of May 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
New screen shots for episode four of The Wolf Among Us have been released. That should mean the episode release is on its way. Lookie there, we have some new screen shots for The Wolf Among Us' episode four. An episode titled In Sheep's Clothing. That should mean, if my Telltale clock is working right, that we should most likely see the new episode in about two weeks. Also we should be seeing a trailer for said episode by the end of the week or early next week. That is about how clockwork they usually have been with The Wolf Among Us and The Walking Dead. Rumor Mill: God Of War 4 And Halo 5 At E3?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 12th of May 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
'Leaked' documents surrounding the three big E3 Press Events point to new games and demos not previously announced. It would seem that there is a new document showcasing the schedules for the Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo conferences making the rounds online. The validity of this document is still to be determined but if it is true we could be seeing a new God Of War title as well as a demo for Halo 5. Of course at each respectful E3 press event and not in one big collaboration. Could you imagine that though? Read More...

Could We Be Seeing A Remake Of The Original Metal Gear Games?
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Monday, 28th of April 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
An interview question gets Hideo Kojima talking about remakes of the early Metal Gear franchise. In a recent interview on Twitch Hideo Kojima talked for a whole hour. Some stuff we already knew but a fan question made the future seem even brighter. While it would probably be very far off into the future it still makes my heart beat with glee. The only hope we have is that Kojima said he would like to remake the first two Metal Gear games. He also said when asked about DLC for Ground Zeroes that it would only push The Phantom Pain back further. Read More...

Review: Star Pod
by Dakota B. Johnson [ Tuesday, 22nd of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Star Pod a challenging HTML5 Game from Playdor. Star Pod is a game by Playdor. It is a simple, yet challenging HTML5 game made in Construct 2 whose first ten levels have been released. The game is only available in a pre-release version. From what I have gathered you control a small UFO that must navigate the 2D levels collecting little gold rings. Starting from one platform and finishing on another. As with any game the first few levels are pretty easy. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 18th of April 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review The Wolf Among Us - Episode Three. It's been a while since we picked up with Bigby and crew so let's see if the wait was worth it. It looks like everything is back on track for The Wolf Among Us in terms of release windows. No waiting around for a few months to get the new episode as we got episode three in quite a timely manner. The only question is, does A Crooked Mile expand on the game's world and mechanics or just let us down again? Sit right back and I'll tell you the tale of my experience with The Wolf Among Us episode three. Read More...

The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 Is Slated For Release Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 3rd of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Shortly after the new trailer for The Wolf Among Us Episode 3 came the release date for the new episode. Just as I called it two days ago, A Crooked Mile, The Wolf Among Us' third episode has been given a launch date. That date being April 8th 2014. Only seven days after the new trailer for the episode at that. Just as I called it. The big kicker is that it is supposedly slated for a universal release to all platforms instead of PC and PlayStation first for a day or so. Read More...

The Wolf Among Us Episode Three Gets A New Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 1st of April 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The Wolf Among Us episode three — A Crooked Mile gets a new trailer. Hopefully this means the episode will be out soon. Finally, The Wolf Among Us brings us something that isn't an April Fools' joke in the form of a new trailer for the third episode of the game; A Crooked Mile. Something I have been waiting for all day and technically almost two months now; something new for The Wolf Among Us since the last episode is the larger of the two. The lack of April Fools' joke is just a plus. New gamers to The Wolf Among Us be warned; there are a few spoilers mixed into the trailer as it continues off from where we last left Bigby. Review — Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 26th of March 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
We Sit Down And Review Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Is it just an expensive demo or a real fun game? Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes has been labeled as one large demo and prologue to The Phantom Pain. In fact there have been gameplay sessions of the game that show it can be completed in a little over seven minutes. The game is also not the same price as a normal retail title but it is still $30 but is it worth the price of admission to Metal Gear Solid V? Let's dig in and see if you should drop the cash and time. Read More...

Just In Case You Forgot BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Ep 2 Is Out
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
We have the launch trailer for BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Episode Two to celebrate its launch and end of a company. With everything going on as of late for Irrational and 2K I almost forgot that BioShock Infinite: Burial At Sea — Episode Two was on the verge of launching. Or actually launching today depending on the platform that tickles your fancy. I believe it is only the Xbox that has to wait another day but I could be a bit off. Either way, it is a good thing that 2K decided to remind us all with a very creepy and cool trailer for the last DLC from Irrational Games. Read More...

How Fast Can You Beat Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 18th of March 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was always claimed to be short. But ten minutes short? Check it out. There has been no big secret that Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is a short game. The length lent itself to the lower price for the game as well as the lack of a platinum trophy in the end game. That said, would you believe that it can be beaten in about ten minutes? Yes, I said ten minutes. Read More...

More Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes Screen Shots To Shake A Stick At
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 7th of March 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
We have a plethora of new screens for Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Look it's Psycho Mantis! We are quickly coming up on the launch of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes so it's good that we are getting a few new screen shots to help tide us over until that date. Most of them look lifted from gameplay videos that we have seen before or just title screens so…wait a hot minute…is that Psycho Mantis? Holy crap it is and in his PS1 low res glory. Maybe it is worth a deeper look at all of these new screens just to see what else we have going on here. Read More...

Miss Flappy Bird? Make Your Own Version Instead
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 27th of February 2014 - 06:00 PM ]
If you missed out on the Flappy Bird craze or something the like, Code.org has a way for you to make your own version The Flappy Bird craze is something I missed before it went away. I'll be honest there. Also to be honest, I don't get why it was so insanely popular outside of the oddness or nostalgia of things being able to get most people to latch on to something. I could be right or I could be right. In either instance, all of you out there who also missed out or just plain miss Flappy Bird on your mobile there is a way to get it back as well as make the improvements you might have wanted. New Details 'Leaked' For Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 25th of February 2014 - 10:00 PM ]
Konami tried to 'leak' information about Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, but can they really 'leak' the information? Usually when you hear about video game news leaking it is due to someone who pirated or downloaded something about the game that the PR reps, publishers, or developers didn't want in the wild yet. That is not the case this time with Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. At least if the PR email that I was sent as anything to say about it. Read More...
