Laugh all you want but it looks like Godzilla will be making and official showing in Las Vegas, NV. I'm of course talking about the game and not the king of the monsters or any of his adversaries. Even in the most recent film for Godzilla the beast never actually stepped foot in the city but it looks like he has changed his mind about destroying Sin City. I think that is enough joshing around. Let's dig into the meat of what we have here.
You may or may not remember me talking about Godzilla back in June. The game popped up and was slated for a PS3 release only in Japan. It is the game that most die-hard fans of the Godzilla franchise may have been wanting as we will now be able to take control of the titular monster and wreak havoc on all kinds of unprepared cities. Also I am hoping some of the other monsters from the vast Godzilla lore and mythology.
Here's a bit of the gameplay for Godzilla.
Godzilla — PS3 Japanese Demo
Well, it looks like the one and only Tweet from the Godzilla video game account has stated that there will be something for us on to see during the award show tonight. On top of that, there is also a projected release for Godzilla to hit gaming shelves of Summer 2015. As I stated before Godzilla looked like it was a rather "last gen" title trying to capitalize on the reboot and the media murmurs surrounding that. Hopefully what Namco is bringing to the GAs will blow our minds and get us all excited for Godzilla. Maybe a multi-console release as well.
#Godzilla will be stopping by @TheGameAwards TOMORROW! See the O.G. in action LIVE at 6pm PST. http://t.co/xsxmDa84yx

I won't deny it. I'd still play the hell out of Godzilla even if it looks shoddy but actually makes rampaging through a city as Godzilla insanely fun. Rampaging is fun by itself after all.
