A transcript of EA's 2014 E3 press conference Like any press conference should start, EA's began with the CEO Andrew Wilson taking the stage and welcoming everyone to E3 and their press conference. He immediately sets the show off by announcing a video for Star Wars: Battlefront will be shown at E3. He announces that the conference will be showing games releasing in the upcoming months and other games that will take longer but we'd get more in-depth looks. While At E3 I Got To See Dead Island 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Ah Dead Island 2, now here is a title I can completely get behind and that was based just on the trailer that announced that the game was coming. Who doesn't like a little zombie killing action in a non-depressing yet not-over-the-top comedic way? More or less the balance between The Walking Dead and Dead Rising in terms of tone and mood. While at E3 I got to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in a more intimate setting than just the trailer. Here's my take on it All of the teases and short shows of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain can all be put aside now as we were given a new and nice look at the game and features that have yet to be announced or shown in a public form. It also kind of puts the whole demo thing for Ground Zeroes to the side as with what was shown here at E3 was considerably more and with a demo you should get all of the game's mechanics and features. Dead Island 2 was announced at the Sony press conference and just as before it came with an amazing trailer to show it all off If I had to say one thing that Deep Silver does insanely well it has to be trailers for games and they did it again for Dead Island 2. EA and Visceral Games have made Battlefield: Hardline official and here is the trailer for the game to prove it I guess it only took a few 'leaks' of Battlefield: Hardline before EA and Visceral decided to let the secret out into the wild. It is sad that all of these other 'reputable' and 'deserving of early footage' outlets have decided to ruin the fun and excitement that I am sure EA was looking for at E3 but what is done is done. We can now be certain that Battlefield: Hardline is coming and that we will hopefully be getting a nice long look at it on the show floor and moving forward in the coming months leading up to the full launch of the game. It's been reported that Kingdom Hearts III won't be focused on at E3 but the latest Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX trailer has a nice little tease for us all It is starting to shape up that this E3 is going to be filled with a lot of good news followed with bad news as Kingdom Hearts III has fallen into that arena here. Reports are coming out that the game is going to be a no-show to little-show at E3 here next week. Those have only been followed by the news of how big and "hard to watch" the actual gameplay footage at E3 will actually be. A trailer for the Gauntlet reboot has been released showing off all the gear and weapons that we will be using in the game Earlier this year we had the announcement for Gauntlet getting the next gen treatment with a nice little trailer. Have a look at the new 'Battle Mode' for Batman: Arkham Knight's Batmobile and be sad that the game has been delayed until 2015 sometime Looks like we get to add Batman: Arkham Knight to the list of delayed games with something exclusive to show at E3 here next week. In this case it is the new "Battle Mode" for the Batmobile and all of the insanity that is packed inside of armored beast. Oh, and also there are a few new in-game shots for the game that shows off Batman's ride a bit more as well as Batman doing what he does best; kicking ass and chewing gum except Batman doesn't like gum… Or was it Batman doesn't like guns? I could have sworn that was the case but it looks like the new Batmobile has helped the Caped Crusader over that hatred and into love with them in Batman: Arkham Knight. Read More...

There are more screen shots for Dragon Age: Inquisition making their way around the web and they show off more of the world Just in time to make the prE3 circuit comes a bunch of new screen shots for Dragon Age: Inquisition. Much like all of the previous screen shots they are all mostly environmental shots showing off the game's world and locations. The countdown is over and Mortal Kombat X has been officially announced with a trailer and a few bits on gameplay After weeks of teasing and many "leaks" it looks like we got what was "promised" as Mortal Kombat X has now been fully announced. It even has a nice pre-rendered trailer to go along with it. At least it is assumed to be pre-rendered but the fact that it looks to be using the Unreal Engine 4 as a base and planned for the PS4, XB1, and PC as well as the "last gen" consoles, it might not be out of the realm of possibilities for it to be real time footage.
