Battlefield V Has Been Officially Announced With A Reveal Next Week
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Battlefield It has been officially revealed that Battlefield V will be the next game in the Battlefield line and we will have a live reveal next week The headline here kind of says it all, but Battlefield V has been set as the official name for the next entry into the franchise with EA and DICE setting up a live event where the game will be shown off for the first time. I wish there was more to officially state for this reveal, but that is about the extent of what we have been given in terms of details and we will have to wait until May 23rd for Trevor Noah to give us more of the skinny. Him and some of the actual developers for Battlefield V will be giving us those details, but obviously the larger performer is what they are trying to use as the pull for us fans of the franchise and non-fans of the franchise. A Demon Runs Wild In Soulcalibur VI As Yoshimitsu Joins The Roster
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 17th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Soulcalibur The next character for Soulcalibur VI and it is another blast from the past of Soulcalibur to cause all kinds of Hell and frustration for others The next character to join the roster of SoulCalibur VI has been revealed and it is none other than one of the fan favorites Yoshimitsu. Fan favorite or character that annoys the Hell out of you when someone selects him given his moves and disorienting nature. At least that is how I always found him when I played him in the past and it looks like Bandai Namco is keeping with a lot of the traditional for him in Soulcalibur VI. I will not deny that this is what has pushed me over the top for excitement for the game to finally launch later this year for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Our Mettle Will Be Tested As We Try To Escape The Green Hell
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Green Hell A new survival game, Green Hell, is coming and Green Hell looks to give us all the fun of a survival game with all the horrors we would face if it were real If you ever wondered if you could survive the dangers of the Amazon Rainforest if you were lost there, then you are closer to wondering now more as Green Hell has been announced and is all about just that. Well, at least about that minus all of the real-world danger and death that would most likely come to most gamers, but I digress. Green Hell also happens to be the first title from the newly formed studio Creepy Jar as they take the survival game genre and crack it up, then ripping off the knob. Read More...

Lara Is Ever Evolving To The Point In Shadow Of The Tomb Raider
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 07:00 PM ]
Tomb Raider A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix's big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. Read More...

Metro Exodus Has Been Delayed Just A Bit But It Could Be A Good Thing
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 16th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Metro Exodus A slight delay for Metro Exodus is set out there and now we will not be seeing Metro Exodus until early 2019 instead of late 2018 Do not expect to see Metro Exodus anytime this year, at least in its final form, as it has now been quietly delayed. I say quietly as there was not a huge announcement or statement out there from 4A Games or Deep Silver on it not hitting the PS4, Xbox One, or PC in late 2018 and now aiming for Q1 2019. No, this update was kind of slipped into the middle of the full statement on the parent company's earnings report. Something that a casual fan who is excited for Metro Exodus may have missed but, thankfully, you have us out there skimming through it all and catching it. Read More...

Agony A new video for Agony is here to show us a little more for the game but also introduce us to the main musical theme for Agony If you were curious on the music that will be accompanying Agony when it launches on May 29th, and I am not talking the usual ominous kind horror games come with, then you will be pleased to know that we have a music video showcasing just that. Well, more showcasing the main theme for the game and not all of the music that Madmind Studios will have in the game there but beggars cannot be choosers. At least not when it comes to Agony as it is the latest that we have and we should all kick back and enjoy it. Read More...

Insanity Rules In The First Gameplay For RAGE 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 15th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
RAGE The first gameplay for RAGE 2 is here and it looks to outshine the previous RAGE in many different ways from shooter to open-world Just as we were promised, we have the first bit of gameplay for RAGE 2 to gaze upon and so far it does not look like we are going to be let down in the hype arena. Not only that, but it looks like it all also came along with some other news from Bethesda for the game for us all to digest and get amped up for another large showing at E3 this year. Like, for starters, that RAGE 2 will be a collaborated effort between Avalanche Studios and id Software and not just a solo gig. Read More...

Boss Key Productions Has Been Deemed ‘No More’
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Boss Key Fresh on the heels of Boss Key Productions’ last title announcement, Radical Heights, it looks like Boss Key is going to be no more Sad news for those who have been completely enamored with what Boss Key Productions has put out there for us, as it looks like the studio is "no more." Yep, it looks like the studio is being shut down after only a few years of trying to put out video games that never truly found an audience or fandom. Well, at least one that made all of the work and effort Boss Key Productions put into them viable to keep going. At least that is part of the assumption based on the official announcement that came from the head of the studio. Read More...

Get Ready To Die As RAGE 2 Is Officially Announced
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 14th of May 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
RAGE RAGE 2 has been officially announced after many ‘leaks’ and teases for RAGE 2 started to pop up all over the internet with more to come really soon It looks like all of those ‘leaks’ and teases that we saw out there for RAGE 2 over the past week have turned out to be more than wishful thinking for some. It also turns out to be more than a fun bit of marketing that Bethesda has had with it as it turns out that the game is officially in the works and coming to us. I know some of you out there were not happy with the first RAGE title, but we are getting this sequel and it also looks like Avalanche Studios will be taking over to make the game bigger and better. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies Mode Has Been Teased Again
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 10th of May 2018 - 09:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new tease for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4’s zombie mode is out there but this time it comes from the developer behind the next Call Of Duty title We can mark this down under the "not surprising" category, but it looks like Treyarch is out there teasing the next Zombies Mode for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4. We have seen this before but from the official E3 Twitter account and not from someone that Activision is paying for the game, but now it comes directly from the source. It looks like the Call Of Duty tradition is carrying on and will be in the game when it hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 12th. Read More...
