A new multiplayer mode for Sunset Overdrive has been announced with a trailer showing off all of the new chaos Can Sunset Overdrive get any wackier? Most likely but the new co-op mode, Chaos Squad, shows off quite a bit of the insanity that we will have to deal with on October 28th via our Xbox One's and Xbox Live. If that is your jam and all. I mean who would want to play a game like Sunset Overdrive in a multiplayer aspect? Read More...

This Week In Gaming 6/23/14 — 6/27/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming This has been some week in terms of gaming news. It was a bit expected but not to the lull that it has been in the wake of E3. That of course didn't stop us from gathering up what we could find to update all of you with. Everything from the large titles like Batman: Arkham Knight to the smaller like Slow Down Bull. We got you covered pretty damn well here. It would defeat the purpose of giving you a recap of everything if I went over everything right now so I'll let you pick and choose what you want to see. More Space Marines With Space Hulk: Deathwing On The PS4, Xbox One, & PC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
A new 'summer' trailer has been released for Space Hulk: Deathwing coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC If you have an illness and the only cure is more space marines then look no further than Space Hulk: Deathwing. This is the latest in the Space Hulk franchise, at least in the video game world, and it definitely looks like it is going to have a cure for that illness. As if there weren't already enough of those franchises coming out later this year or in 2015 but different stokes for different folks I guess. You can take that phrase in whatever way you want but I meant it in the most Puritanical way that I know. Read More...

See All The Little Miracles That Concluded In No Man's Sky's Universe
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 27th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
A new 'dev diary' of sorts has been released showing off how Hello Games made it to the stage that No Man's Sky is currently at If there was one title that I kept hearing about at E3 but knew very little about it was No Man's Sky. I saw the trailer shown during the VGX show and then again during the Sony Press Conference but that was about the extent of my knowledge of the game. It started to seem that everyone and their Mother's Sister's Cousin's former Roommate knew way more than I ever could about No Man's Sky even with the little bit that we have all seen. It seemed like there was a bit that I had yet to know. Read More...

So There Will Be A Single Player Mode In Evolve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 26th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
Recently Chris Ashton from Turtle Rock Studios revealed that there will be a single-player campaign in Evolve It would seem that I was a bit confused before when it came to Evolve and the play modes of the game. I was under the impression that it was a multiplayer experience through and through. Looks like I was wrong as Turtle Rock has only focused on showing the multiplayer aspect of Evolve and kind of pushed the solo play to the side lines. That was until a few quotes from Chris Ashton (Design Director) let fly out into the world of the internet directly pointed at the single-player experience. Here's what Mr. Read More...

Insomniac Games Is Experimenting With Slow Down Bull
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of June 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
Insomniac Games has announced that they are experimenting with the open development process with a new 'indie' title Slow Down Bull We've seen a bit of "open development" with other studios but it looks like Insomniac Games is giving it a go with Slow Down Bull. By open development I am talking about how some studios have been live streaming the process or conducting Google Hangouts to get gamer feedback as they move forward in the process. This is just the case for Slow Down Bull as it will consist of a team of four to five members of the Insomniac crew making this little PC title over the course of "until it is done". Not much is known for Slow Down Bull as of yet as it was just announced with nothing more than a concept of some key art but here's what we got. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 24th of June 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The Kickstarter campaign has begun for the spiritual sequel to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. that is simply titled Areal Well it looks like the minds and talent behind the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. franchise have finally announced their upcoming title Areal. Announced and looking for funding at that. Funding through Kickstarter to go one further and to add yet another fragmented sentence to the list here as we bring you the updated news from West Games. That would be the studio developing Areal for the slow to catch on here. Yes I like badgering the reads. Read More...

A new 'dev diary' has been released for Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare showcasing the advanced technology we will get to use Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been making its name recently for all those cool little toys we are going to be able to use while trying to win whatever war we are thrust into via the story. We've seen a few in action, with and without explanation, and we've been left to ponder other pieces of hardware that we may get to use. We are in luck here today as it looks like some of the people at Sledgehammer are here to give us a quick rundown on some of the cool little toys we will be using to kill all of the people not on our team in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The release date for Metro Redux has been announced for both the collection and individual titles getting the upscale We had a possible "leak" yesterday for a title I have been excited for but today we have one for Metro Redux; another major thing of excitement for me. Do We Have An Official Release Date For Batman: Arkham Knight?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 23rd of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
A listing for Batman: Arkham Knight on the Microsoft Marketplace may have outed the new release date for the game Let's start this week off with a bang as we may have the new date for Batman: Arkham Knight via an accidental "leak" on the Microsoft Marketplace. If it is to be believed it looks like we will be driving around Gotham as soon as February 24th 2015. Only if the below listing, since removed from the site, is spot on with the date. It fits all of the criteria so it would be a bit weird if it wasn't the new date. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 20th of June 2014 - 11:06 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Gaming This week in gaming news should be the epic conclusion to the E3 coverage that we were able to cover. There was just so much that I wish would could have covered more but there was a good long list of hands on and impressions for you to read through. Even if you don't feel like reading they are all filled with video snippets of the gameplay or trailers that were placed out there to impress and awe. I like to plan ahead as we all have too little time to waste sometimes when it comes to our gaming needs. Read More...

E3 2014 Hands On: Evolve
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 19th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Evolve In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It I have heard so much about Evolve from every other even that I have had to miss out on. Hearing that I would be able to play it at E3 got me excited as all of the trailers and gameplay footage up until now has had me extremely interested. So I made the trek over to the 2K booth and settled in to see how the game plays and if Evolve can live up to the hype that I have seen flung around for it. At least from the aspect of one of the hunters, Hyde the Assault, so know that there is a bit of skew here since I didn't get hands on with the other four playable characters. Read More...

E3 2014 Impressions: Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 18th of June 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Got To See Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Now for the doozy of a game from E3, Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Love the franchise or hate it, Call Of Duty is still one of the largest titles in gaming history and thankfully it seems to be pushing the technology more and more in the recent years. I know some of you would complain about its annualization and how the mechanics have been going downhill for a while but from the showing that Sledgehammer brought they really left and impact. As the name implies. Read More...
