Directly from Gamescom we have a first look at the gameplay of Dead Island 2 from Deep Silver and Yager Development At E3 we were shown the bare bones for Dead Island 2. A new trailer for Metro Redux from Deep Silver and 4A Games has been released showing off all of the updates and comparisons from the original titles Having had a chance to play both titles included in Metro Redux I can attest that both look and play amazing. They both look stunning and all of the minor issues I had with the original titles in terms of gameplay have been tweaked and fixed in this new edition. But of course these are just words on your screen that you are reading and if I know my audience like I think I do, you want to see the proof as well as read my words on the screen. Two new teasers clips have popped up from Sony surrounding something to be revealed at Gamescom. Could it be Until Dawn? I remember two years ago being so excited for Until Dawn when it was announced at Gamescom during the PlayStation press briefing. Then the title from Supermassive Games, which was slated to use the PS Move to its full extent, kind of just vanished. A new teaser for the suspected Shadow Realms IP from BioWare has been released and it is looking like it could be very interesting Last week we covered a newly teased IP from BioWare that most have been calling Shadow Realms. That's not official but it makes sense given all of the build up to the first teaser video for whatever BioWare and EA are putting together. 2K Games has announced that Evolve will now be releasing in 2015 instead of this October If you were lucky enough to get into the Evolve Alpha test over last weekend, consider yourself lucky. Two new live action trailers from BioWare have popped up online and signs point to a new IP called Shadow Realms Over the last few weeks it looks like BioWare has been teasing a new IP and if all clues are correct it could be titles Shadow Realms. It makes sense as EA recently filed for a trademark for Shadow Realms back in March and the thumbnail for the first video is straight up titled ShadowRealms_Teaser_video.jpg. The Walking Dead Escape was back at SDCC giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like For the third year running (pun intended) I was able to experience The Walking Dead Escape at SDCC. I broke down what it was all about before but I'll give the quick version just in case you are lazy. In a nut shell it is a real world survival horror event that tests if you could escape from one end of a location, Petco Park in this case, to the other without being swarmed by the undead horde. During the Skybound Entertainment panel for The Walking Dead at SDCC, season three for the game was announced We haven't even finished off season two of The Walking Dead from Telltale and now we have season three on the way. It has been confirmed during the panel at SDCC where the game was mentioned and then confirmed from Robert Kirkman and the president of Telltale games, Kevin Bruner. GameStop has announced that they will have an exclusive DCL pack for Batman: Arkham Knight that adds the Red Hood's Story It looks like we are getting more to Batman: Arkham Knight than just the Harley Quinn story pack. That is at least if you are pre-ordering the game for your local GameStop and nowhere else. None the less it is confirmed now that we are getting more story DLC for Batman: Arkham Knight in the form of the Red Hood and it doesn't look like the Joker's version of the Red Hood either. I'm thinking that it is more like the recent animated series and comic ark but that will most likely be told during the play through. Read More...
