As it has been said, we asked for it and now we are getting it; Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is coming and it will be a PS4 remastering of all of the titles in the console franchise of Uncharted. Note I said console franchise as Bluepoint Games is only doing the work for Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The Vita game is going to be left on the sidelines for now but I am sure that Naughty Dog will do what was done for God Of War and their mobile games at some point.
So what is going on in the Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection that would get you to re-purchase all of the titles again? Well of course they are all getting the 1080p and 60fps treatment that we all want on our PS4 games now. This will also include better lighting, textures and character models getting upgrades for the Uncharted franchise. To go hand in hand with this we are also getting new trophies and that Photo Mode that has been included in most of the PS4's remastered or flagship titles now. You know; because we want to spend time trying to get that perfect screenshot and not enjoy the games again.
On top of getting to play all of the Uncharted titles again in the way that Naughty Dog would have wanted us to play them in the first place but there are a few added bonuses beyond that. You will be able to get an Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection PS4 dynamic skin and most importantly exclusive access to the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End multiplayer Beta. I have a feeling you are now paying attention as we know all of you Uncharted fans do love that multiplayer and will want to see what is coming well before all of those casual fans out there.
As of right nowUncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection is slated for an October 9th release on the PS4. Pre-orders for it are open now and also grant you a few bonuses for The Nathan Drake Collection in the way of character skins and golden weapons. If you want that stuff then get to that pre-ordering.
