by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 22nd of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
The Sinking City A new trailer for The Sinking City is here to show us some new gameplay and get us ready for The Sinking City to finally release next month It is amazing to think that we are almost there for the release of The Sinking City so more of us can see another team's interpretation of the Cthulhu mythologies. There have been many good ones as of late and I have been extremely interested in what Frogwares will have for us on June 27th. Especially since it looks like they are doing one of the more interesting ways to handle the sanity aspect these games demand. Read More...

Vampire A new narrative entry for the Vampire: The Masquerade franchise is coming with many ties to the tabletop version of Vampire There is a lot of buzz for the World Of Darkness as of late and it looks like we get to add another entry into the excitement in terms of Vampire: The Masquerade. No, we are not talking about Bloodlines 2 in this aspect but in a new announcement that came out of Bigben Interactive's recent game showcase. That would be the same publisher who is working on the Werewolf title. Now it looks like they have licensed out Vampire: The Masquerade for a new narrative game based on the tabletop version. Follia – Dear Father Will Have Us All Devolving Further Into Madness With This Announcement
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 16th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Follia A new horror title, Follia – Dear Father, is announced and will have us diving into some true horrors while staving off our own “Follia” Madness is a usual and running theme when it comes to horror titles and with the announcement of Follia – Dear Father, it looks like we are getting another in the same vein of it all. Do not take that as a knock on it at all, but given that the title given to the game from Real Game Machine is Italian for madness, you know it is going to be highlighted. Not to mention that it is shown in the announcement trailer we have below for Follia and part of the description Destructive Creations is using to help sell the game. Read More...

Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 Shows Us A Beautiful Way To Die With The Toreador
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of May 2019 - 07:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The Toreador are here for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 as the latest clan that will be stalking the streets when Bloodlines 2 launches Here we go with the next clan that will be available in Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 as the Toreador are coming front and center. Not the biggest surprise as this would be another of the more common and easier clans for Hardsuit Labs to bring into the game. I have a feeling this is going to be the call almost every time we have a new update for Bloodlines 2. Read More...

Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Brings More Sights To Be Seen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 15th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Ancestors New gameplay for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is here and shows off a bit more on how we will identify things in Ancestors with our babies Here we go with a bit more gameplay for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey today and it is just a nice little bit. I will take everything that we can out of Panache Digital Games here as it has been an interesting concept from day one for me. Especially given the pedigree of the developers in charge of it all. That and the interesting use of the game's world to force exploration in Ancestors. Read More...

Review — A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 14th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale We sit down and review A Plague Tale: Innocence. A stealth game with a tale of innocence lost and millions of plague rats. Here is our review of A Plague Tale: Innocence The swarm is here as A Plague Tale: Innocence is out there now for the masses to enjoy and see just what 5000 rats on screen can look like when they are tormenting an innocent brother and sister team. That may sound a bit grim, but that is the very basic description of this game from Asobo Studio here even though there is so much more going on with it all. I had a chance to actually sit down and play A Plague Tale to see what other interesting things were in the game along with its stealth gameplay and sling-fling mechanics. Read More...

Review — Fade To Silence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 10th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Fade To Silence We sit down and review Fade To Silence. A new survival game that places us in a frozen post-apocalypse world. Here is our review of Fade To Silence The survival game genre has seen a lot of great titles and a lot of mediocre titles fall into it and now we get to see where Fade To Silence falls into it all. This would be the latest title to come out of Black Forest Games with the help of THQ Nordic and is looking to do just that. Fade To Silence will look to us to survive in a harsh and frozen world while trying to keep other horrors at bay. Read More...

MediEvil A new story trailer for MediEvil is here as well as when we should all expect to play MediEvil on our PS4s this coming Fall It was certainly a huge day during the State of Play stream yesterday, as we also had a nice new look at MediEvil in the middle of all of the other great announcements to be had. Not only a new look at how Other Ocean Interactive is bringing this classic title back to life for us all, but also a nice look at when we should expect to see the game drop on the PS4. Survive A Harsh World With Interesting Puzzles In Claire de Lune
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 09:00 PM ]
Claire An announcement for Claire de Lune is here and it will be a new puzzle game that will take us on the hunt for the titular Claire on weird planet In the seemingly endless run of all the dark and grim first-person games coming out, it is nice to see another puzzle and platforming game get the announcement as Claire de Lune just did. That should be given from the little bit above this line, but that is what we have here from Tactic Studios for their latest title. As I mentioned, it will have a nice first-person look to it all, but only as far as perspective and use of mechanics as it will be a puzzle game much like was have seen in the past. Read More...

The Blood Sorcerers, Tremere, Are Coming To Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 8th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
Bloodlines 2 The next clan for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2 is here and brings blood magic with them into the darkness of Bloodlines 2 In a bit of a surprise turn for Vampire: The Masquerade — Bloodlines 2, it looks like the team is bringing one of the harder clans into the game in the way of the Tremere. At least if you look at how they are treated in the tabletop version of the game and not specifically what Hardsuit Labs is doing here. For those that are not fully up to speed, they are blood sorcerers that can do damned near anything and also have one of the weakest (to implement in a video game) curse. Read More...

EA Access EA Access will now be heading to the PS4 this July allowing gamers another way to subscribe to EA Access and all of the games it holds In one of the least surprising moves recently, it looks like we will soon be seeing EA Access over on the PS4 for those who are looking to partake in the service that EA has been offering for a while. Monsters Are Lurking Everywhere In A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 6th of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new trailer for A Plague Tale: Innocence is out now and shows us more of the true monsters the kids will need to face in A Plague Tale If you have been following along with A Plague Tale: Innocence up to now, then you may already know that there are going to be swarms of rats in the game and it would be easy to think of them as the true monsters of the game. They are out to devour our flesh and hinder all kinds of progress as we have seen in the past trailers. No one would fault you for that line of thinking. Read More...

Amicia & Hugo Are Going To Need All Of Our Help In A Plague Tale: Innocence
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 3rd of May 2019 - 05:00 PM ]
A Plague Tale A new gameplay breakdown for A Plague Tale: Innocence is here to show off more of A Plague Tale as well as how we can aide the duo along In just a few weeks we will be able to sink our teeth and claws into A Plague Tale: Innocence and see how this game truly pans out after so much waiting. I still remember my first look at it all way back when it was a basic dream in Asobo Studio's minds and a basic PowerPoint presentation in a back room at E3. I saw the potential and I am glad that I did as it looks like it is shaping up to be something that could truly be fun and interesting for gaming. Read More...
