A batch of new screenshots for The Surge 2 are here to give us a slight look at the game and possible new mechanics for The Surge 2 In the past week, Focus Home Interactive hosted one of their media events that aimed to show more for the games that they will be publishing with The Surge 2 being in the mix of them all. Not too much has seemed to have come out of the event as of yet as it was most likely a lot of first looks and current looks at all of the games with embargoes placed down to keep the coverage at bay for a bit. Whatever the case may be, Deck 13 was there with the current stuff they have for The Surge 2 and giving a small show of what will be coming to the game later in this year. Read More...

During the Star Wars Celebration, we had word and video that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is announced and heading to us this coming November There was so much teasing and now we are finally here with the announcement of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order fresh out of the major celebration that was going on for the franchise over the weekend. A franchise that has needed a bit of work to revitalize general gamers back into it all and not rely on the hardcore fans alone to keep it all over in the EA wheelhouse. More so when there was word of an amazing sounding title canceled a while back. Read More...

More characters for Mortal Kombat 11 have been given the highlights recently with a new look at some of Mortal Kombat 11’s fatalities All kinds of new things have made their way out there for Mortal Kombat 11 since last week and we are here to dive right into it all. Well, at least in terms of a few new characters getting their full showing that we have been asking NetherRealm Studios for since we first heard of them. This means we have a new and solid look at Kitana and D’Vorah in Mortal Kombat 11 as well as one more look at Cetrion outside of the small tease we had before. We had the basic reveal for the character a while back, but now we get to see the elder goddess in action with all of the other fun stuff that was left out. Read More...

The official announcement on when Frostpunk will be coming to consoles is here with the word of Frostpunk: Console Edition It has been a year, or so, since Frostpunk dropped out there for all of those PC gamers out there that wanted to get in on a society survival game in the vast colds. Obviously, this felt like it left a lot of gamers out but 11 Bit Studios wanted to make sure that PS4 and Xbox One gamers out there could have a chance to play the game. Not everyone has the ability to run games all that well with their PCs, so it makes sense to bring Frostpunk into some of the more standardized systems out there. Read More...

The launch trailer for World War Z is here just days before World War Z officially launches and shows us more of the human swarm we will war with Next week we will see World War Z finally hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC after what feels like a long wait. More so when you realize that it is linked to the film that came out about six years ago already. That makes this one different than other film-based video games, right? I would say so and so far I have been impressed with what Saber Interactive has already done for World War Z. Read More...

A new story trailer for Chernobylite is here as a new Kickstarter campaign kicks off for some additional funding to bring Chernobylite to all If you needed more story for Chernobylite to fully sell you, then you are fully in luck here as that is what we have to take in now. Better that than a bunch of radiation from the Chernobyl Zone where The Farm 51 has placed the game. We will leave that all to them as they get the 3D scans of the environment for us to run around in. That way we can experience not only the story of Chernobylite but also the world that most of us will never want to step foot in. Read More...

A new trailer for RAGE 2 is here to show off everything that we will be facing off with in RAGE 2, which is everything Here we go with more of the over-the-top gameplay for RAGE 2 as we get a nice rundown of just what and whom we will be facing off against in the game. If you have no clue about that at all, it is apparent that Avalanche Studios is pitting us against everything in the game. Not just mutants and oppressive regimes, but also other creatures, barrels, and cliffs will be something you need to take on. Yes, you read that correctly as that is how the latest for RAGE 2 is making it all seem. Read More...

A new video series for Samurai Shodown is here to take us through the characters of Samurai Shodown and here is the first one There have been looks at the characters for the upcoming Samurai Shodown already, but none of them have featured one character specifically at a time thus far. This is apparently an issue out there that needs to be rectified. How are we supposed to get an understanding of a specific character in the game if SNK will not just show them doing their thing? Paranoia: Happiness Is Mandatory is revealed now to take us all on a darkly humorous RPG this coming year as long as we are not filled with Paranoia Get ready to make more virtual friends and enjoy another RPG out there with Paranoia: Happiness Is Mandatory. Well, more of one virtual friend in the way of Friend Computer in an RPG coming from Black Shamrock for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. That is at least based on what we have here for the announcement for the game as things are a bit sparse. Nonetheless, we will take what we can and keep a close eye out for Paranoia here. Real-time gameplay for Negative Atmosphere was debuted at EGX REZZED that shows off how inspired Negative Atmosphere truly is There has been a bit of news for Negative Atmosphere in the recent months as it is a new sci-fi horror game getting placed out there in the universe. Some have claimed that it looks like a few other games out there and Sun Scorched Studios has stated they have drawn inspirations from them. Now we are here out of EGX and we have some new gameplay to take in for Negative Atmosphere that shows off more of those inspirations and just how far the small team has brought the game so far. It is still early in development, so do not expect too much but it is still rather impressive at this point. Read More...

New gameplay for RAGE 2 is out there to enjoy with a look at the BFG 9000 jumping into RAGE 2 as a nice little bonus to the game Here we go with a bit more gameplay for RAGE 2 that shows off quite a bit more of the crazy and hectic firefights we will be in when we play the game. It definitely looks like Avalanche Studios is doubling down in that aspect of the game to make sure it feels vastly different from the other shooters out there. There are quite a few out there, even in Bethesda's wheelhouse, and RAGE 2 does need to stand out a bit more. It is a sequel that many did not expect to ever see the light of day given the low numbers of the first. Read More...

A new trailer is here for the Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2 remasters to get you excited for their re-release in a week In just over a week the remaster for Final Fantasy X/X-2 will be out there for the Xbox One and Switch. Yet one more of the Square Enix titles that did not show on the platforms the first few times around, but now that we have the technology and exclusivities gone they can. That would, at least, be the thought behind this as the PlayStation fans have been hogging all of the Final Fantasy goodness for a while now. The same can be said for other entries into their other franchises. Read More...

The interactive VR film Afterlife is heading out there in May and we have another new sample of what will be happening in Afterlife’s story A little while back we heard of a new interactive VR film called Afterlife and it piqued our interests even though it did not sound like a game at first. It, more or less, sounded like another film being placed out there in the VR realm from Signal Space Lab and that we would sit as a passive observer to a very grim and dark story. Something that is definitely right in the middle of my tastes even if it did not sound like a true game. Read More...
