What I'd Like In Borderlands 3

Well, after beating the campaign for the first time and having my jaw drop to the floor in shock, I think it's time we start discussing what could be improved for the third installment of Borderlands. I won't be spoiling anything for you guys so you guys can take the mouse off the "X" button now. First off, I would have to say "Keep this story going." Here Is What Was Promised For Black Ops II Zombies Last Week

So last week we were teased with a world premiere for the Zombies mode for Call Of Duty: Black Ops II. Teased and left waiting. Well the wait is now over. Below we have the "World Premiere" of Zombies mode for Black Ops II and, well, we are still left wondering what is going on with it. Medal Of Honor: Warfighter Beta Announced

If you are anticipating the release Medal Of Honor: Warfighter and play on XBox 360 you are in luck. EA and Danger Close announced that a multiplayer beta is coming exclusively to the XBox 360 in early October. Downloading the beta will not only give players an early look but will also grant players 60 minutes of double XP when the game releases on October 23. EA also announced that if 3 million people download the beta they will release a special Linkin Park music video for their song Castle Of Glass. God of War: Ascension Gets Furious… I Mean Furies

So we've seen some of the basic enemies. We've seen the Elephantor. How about some enemies that are part of the ancient cultures that God Of War: Ascension is borrowing from. In this case the Furies or Erinyes depending which you go by. In this case though it looks like Santa Monica Studios is going with the three named Furies for Kratos to rip apart. As will be seen below the first to be shown is Megaera, the jealous one. I'm still trying to understand the spider-like look that has been given to her, especially when it would be easier to just include Arachne and call it a day. Read More...

Assassin's Creed III's Combat Looks Beautifully Brutal

We are getting closer to the launch of Assassin's Creed III. As we get closer it looks like Ubisoft is ramping up the game play details; this time with the actual combat of the game. Below you will see that we have episode two of the four part series that is showcasing all the game's insides. I was a bit doubtful when I first heard about the altered combat system for AC3, but seeing it fully in action here, dear gods. I am sure they took as much detail in past titles, but it definitely looks like they went all out here. Looks like this could be just as fluid as Arkham Asylum/City's combat when all is said and done and that is what I would classify as the best in the biz. Read More...

The Dangers Of Far Cry 3

Ubisoft has released a new trailer in their game play series for Far Cry 3. Part 2 of the survival guide sheds even more light on the games’ characters and story. Vass, which was mentioned in the first trailer, is revealed to be a drug addict and the leader of a group of black market pirates. Vaas also grows drugs and kidnaps hostages. It seems that Vaas is the person who may be holding Jason Brody’s friends. Other interesting features revealed in the trailer include making your own medicine out of wide array of ingredients found around the island, crafting and hunting to make money to buy new weapons and upgrades and gambling if earning money is not your thing. Splinter Cell Blacklist PAX Prime Ghost Demo

Over the weekend at PAX Prime Ubisoft showed off a new game play demo of Splinter Cell Blacklist. The demo was the same mission from E3 but this time it was a stealth play through. Ubisoft wanted to prove that you can still play through Blacklist using stealth like you played through every other game. Even with the ramped up action and lack of shadows the game still holds true to the series focus of stealth. The game finds the perfect balance between stealth and action. Read More...

Will The Wii U Be Worth It?

In 2006 Nintendo released the Wii which was the successor to the GameCube. The Wii had huge success in both China and North America. The Wii quickly outsold the PS3 and the XBox 360 at its low price point of $249.99 at launch. After 6 years Nintendo is planning to release their new console the Wii U sometime this year. See How You Will Survive In Far Cry 3

Ubisoft has released a new trailer outlining the ways you may survive on the Rook Islands in Far Cry 3. The trailer shows some pretty crazy stuff such as exploring ancient temples and fighting off tigers and other wild animals. The trailer also sheds some light on the story and characters. It seems like there is a native tribe on the island lead by a women named Citra that will help main character Jason Brody survive the many dangers on the island. Her brother Vaas was also mentioned in the trailer but not much was revealed about him. Other things that were shown in the trailer include using zip lines, gliders and driving bikes and other vehicles. Read More...

So about two weeks ago we were given a look at Assassin's Creed III's Naval Combat, but we didn't get many details on what is going on and what we will get to control. More or less it was a showing that just further confirmed what was announced at E3. Have you ever missed out on a hot new release game because you didn’t own the right console? It has probably happened to all of us one time or another due to a console exclusive. Console exclusives act as an ace in the hole for most companies when they market a console. This is a very common trend in the game industry that hurts not only the consumer but also the developers. By only releasing on one console its locks out the other half of gamers who only may own one console and limits the sale margin for said game. Mists Of Pandaria Trailer Finally Released

Today Blizzard has finally released the cinematic trailer for the upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft called "Mists of Pandaria." The cinematic features a lot of mist and some good old fashioned fighting. Not to mention a little naval battle that is pretty cool. Mists of Pandaria comes out September 25th, 2012.
