Oh wait, it doesn't actually let you play with friends in game. It only allows for clan stats, multiplayer XP, and item to be shared as well the ability to manage your clan no matter the platform. I guess that is a nice step forward to actually being able to play on your PS4 against or with friends who are Xbox One, PC based or have not upgraded to the newer consoles. Hopefully in the future.

Anyways…

In addition to the cross-platform there is also a new App coming out to help manage you clan and all that jazz while remote. Also a new mode called Clan Wars that will pit clan versus clan that will allow you and your clan to compete for the above mentioned XP and items. Pre-registration is also open now and goes until November 5^th at clans.callofduty.com and is on a first come first server for names. If you have one that you want to secure, you better head on over now and secure it. After that, watch the below trailer to see a bit more on what I was talking about.
