That's right. Get ready for that surprise. Just announced, Sony is pushing the launch of the new motion controllers back to this Fall instead of in the next few months as they stated at E3 2009. Not to big of a surprise as it was still in very early tech demo stage no more than a half a year ago. Even though according to the below press release, it isn't for development issues on the hardware side. But more along the lines of not having a large list of titles ready to go for the launch of the new controllers. Below is a list of games that will no longer have multiplayer support as of February this year.  EA says you can play these titles up until the actual shutdown date.  Community programs could shut down earlier, depending on circumstances.  A little surprise for you football buffs, Madden 09 is on this list for a February 9th shut down date.  What does that mean, that means you're gonna have to shell out some cash for Madden 10 if you want to get online and get your fix.Be sure to note which platforms are being shut down, not all titles are being shut down on all platforms, so make sure you take a good look as to which platforms will no longer be available. Magic: The Gathering has been around since 1993, and converting the card game into a video game has been going on since 1997 with its first title Magic: The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalker for the PC. Ratchet and Clank has enjoyed a really good run these past 7 years, and A Crack in Time is a great cap to the "future" series. Why does it always seem like Sony is the last to get everything. Well finally Netflix will be able to be streamed to the 9 million PS3 homes around the nation. Playstation.blog announced that Netflix will be available at no extra charge. Imagine that! But it's not available just yet... You can actually get a notification when it is usable by signing up here, but it looks to be sometime next month. Just under a month away from the release of the God of War Compilation and we still have not yet seen any of the solid gameplay and visuals. Well outside of a pirated, cell phone camera clip from GamesCon. Something that was burring and full of Parkinson Cam style shot. So we couldn't really judge if the upgrade will be worth shelling out the cash for the two games again.
