by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of May 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Pathfinder We sit down for some hands-on time with Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous to see just how this new Pathfinder title is evolving the IP and gameplay up to now There is a beta going on for a select group of gamers out there who want to see how Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is shaping up and how it will further expand upon the gameplay experiences set for with Kingmaker a few years ago. That was a title that was met with some mixed feelings out of the gat, but Owlcat Games was able to start to correct many of those and look to bring them fully into the core of this title. That and add a whole lot of new things to this Pathfinder outing on the PC. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week It can always be satisfying when a week bookends its self with the same video games so well and with much more than just some marketing hype in the mix. We get to wrap on a week just like that with all of the Ratchet & Clank we did get to see here. Not to mention see a bit more for Returnal that just launched and more for the coming Hood title. We also had a chance to mark one more of those video games off the review list with Paradise Lost for those looking to see if they should take the time to experience it all as well. Read More...

We Will All Be Sucked Further Into The Gameplay For Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank A whole of lot of new gameplay for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart came out recently and we can dive into a bit more to come with this Ratchet & Clank title It seems fitting that since we opened the week with Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart that we are closing it out too. All due to the most recent State Of Play that happened and allowed for Insomniac Games to share a whole lot more gameplay than we had at the start of it all. Almost seventeen minutes worth of the stuff so we can see Ratchet & Clank doing their thing and then a little bit more on the character that we just had highlighted in the way of Rivet. If you have not seen any of that yet, do not worry as there is a whole lot more to Rivet in this gameplay dump that you will get to know the character much more as we see the dimension-hopping continue along the way. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Lost Soul Aside There is some new gameplay for Lost Soul Aside out there that makes Lost Soul Aside give off some new gameplay feels to other titles Things have been a little quiet on the side of things for Lost Soul Aside but now we have a bit more to see and know for the game. Quite a bit for those that may have been waiting for something new, as we have eighteen minutes of gameplay footage for the game that UltiZero Games has been putting tireless hours into. They have a bunch to do for Lost Soul Aside before it hits the PS4, PS5, and PC but it looks like it is developing insanely well. All to the point where it does look like we can use a few other titles out there to describe the look and feel of this game. Read More...

Review — Paradise Lost
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of April 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Paradise Lost We sit down and review Paradise Lost. A dark walk through a twisted alternate history setting. Here is our review of Paradise Lost Playing with history can be fun and can lead to some interesting ideas on how things could have played out differently based on how events transpired. That is part of the core to Paradise Lost, among other things, that PolyAmorous wanted to dive into. They are not the first to do this, obviously, but it is the latest to let us go in and see a different view of things through the eyes of a child. All as we walk around the WWII-inspired setting that is set well after the wars went down. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 26th of April 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
Ratchet & Clank New gameplay for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is here to show how Ratchet & Clank will be embracing the new character into the mix Here we go with a new dimension to take in for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Something that has been teased a bit in the past with the previous videos we have had and now get some solid gameplay mixed in too. There is still some cinematics mixed in here, so take note of that, but it looks like Insomniac Games is trying to give us a highlight for Rivet and how the character will shake up what we know for Ratchet & Clank a bit. Even if it does come down to being Rivet & Clank when it all boils down. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 4/19/21 — 4/23/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of April 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week Finally, we were able to get back on track and have a whole lot of video games to talk about this week. Way more than last week that seemed to hold back on things up until the end when we had all the teases for Resident Evil flow out there and not get covered until this week. Then there were the plethora of horror video games like Wraith, Days Gone, and Song Of Horror get all of those updates in the mix too. There was certainly a whole lot more out this week than before and I have a feeling it is only going to get stronger as we head into the next week too. Read More...

It Is Time To Launch Into Our Death Within Wraith: The Oblivion — Afterlife
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 23rd of April 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Wraith Wraith: The Oblivion — Afterlife is out there on the Oculus to give us some life after death as we dive deeper into the world of Wraith For some of us out there, it is time to die and join in the darkness of Wraith: The Oblivion — Afterlife. The game has launched out there for some of the gaming community with others needing to wait a little bit until it hits their platform of choice. Fast Travel Games is trying to give us all the experience here but with things going on in the background, as they always do, some have to wait just a bit longer. This is also kind of the way it is in Wraith lore if you choose to dig into it, but that would make things a little too meta if that was the choice behind it. Read More...

Life Is Strange The opening scene for Life Is Strange: True Colors’ Alex is here to watch as we get a little deeper into this character for the Life Is Strange universe There are still a whole lot of unknowns for Life Is Strange: True Colors since it was first revealed that we were going to be getting this sequel to the line that Deck Nine Games is going down.
