The first trailer for Powers, the PSN TV adaption of the comic book, was shown at NYCC and we have it here for you Powers, the show, was announced at E3 during Sony's huge press event and it was received with mixed feelings from all. If you were lucky enough to be at NYCC over the weekend and were able to sit in on Sony's panel you may have been treated to seeing the first footage and trailer for the show. In the mix of Marvel's popularity it makes perfect sense for Disney and Avalanche Software to capitalize. The next big Alpha test for Evolve has been announced for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC all happening on or around Halloween If you happened to miss your chance to play the Evolve alpha test in the not too distant past then we have a bit of good news for you. It looks like another big test is on its way to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the next few weeks. A new game called The Black Glove is in the works from ex-Irrational Games developers, Day For Night Games, and they need you help to get the game finished Back when Irrational Games was winding down and people were losing jobs over there, there was a big question as to what was going to become of some of the people who didn't move along with Ken Levine. There is still not much know except that a small group from said team have now banded together to bring us The Black Glove. The team in question here is called Day For Night Games and it comprises mostly of those who were responsible for BioShock Infinite, that game's DLC, and the original BioShock. Read More...

There is a new tech demo that shows off an augmented reality system in the works call RoomAlive from Microsoft I remember not that long ago that Microsoft was using the Kinect to create a form of Augmented Reality in our living rooms. The project was called IllumiRoom for those who don't remember or have a strong Google-Fu. The idea behind it would be that by using the Kinect and a video projector you could expand out the screen of your game to add an extra level of immersion. The Kinect would 'scan' the area to get a digital mapping of your play space so that the projector could properly display no matter the contours or set up of anyone's living room or gaming space. That is we get a good look at the Haunted and the Keeper that will be plaguing us as we try to unravel the mysteries of what is going on in Sebastian's world here… Or head… Or whatever is going on in The Evil Within. A bunch of new screen shots for Sunset Overdrive have been released to show off some of the game's areas and story For all the grief, joking or not, that I have given Sunset Overdrive there is one thing I cannot deny; Sunset Overdrive looks like it is going to be one of a hellishly fun ride. That in itself sounds like a pun on the game but in all actuality Sunset Overdrive looks like the game most gamers and the internet has been wanting for years.
