Looks like we have a new trailer for Battlefield Hardline from EA and Visceral Games to look at over the holiday week. Just like the story trailer we had earlier in the month it looks like this one also follows more of the narrative and to the un-savvy viewer it looks like it is trying to push more of the positive spin that the police force needs in these current times. Maybe it is just me but the words non-lethal and rescues seem to get placed more prominent than all of the violence that will be taking place in Battlefield Hardline when we get it. It's a good move in my opinion and I hope it does the job to distance the game from the real world events people are connecting them all to.

You catch all of that or is it just me? I do like to try and see through all the PR bull shit that is required for those lesser minds to be appeased. Especially for all of those who want to read too much into Battlefield Hardline and make a larger deal about something that was never the intent. It is a sad state that it would be required but I don't fault the marketing people who want to sell a game that has just been slammed due to the over-sensitive nature of humans in today's age. Hopefully you aren't one of them…
