Tomb Raider Shadow Of The Tomb Raider's next DLC has been dated and it looks like this Tomb Raider addition will go a bit darker than expected The fourth DLC for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider has been announced and dated here and it is called The Nightmare. A very ominous sounding bit of DLC for Eidos-Montréal to pump out there, but still very fitting with the franchise. At least as I see it. It could be a lot different when we actually get to play it next week on January 22nd, but for now, we will go with what we know. Read More...

Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go with another week of video games in the bag. There was sure a whole hells of a lot for Metro Exodus this week huh? Not to be outshined by Resident Evil 2 or Anthem but it sure took the highlight quite often. All during CES week at that something that should have had more for us and our video games, but seemed to be a bit on the lighter side for those not looking for a new screen or expensive PC parts. That is at least my hot and fast takeaway on that. Read More...

Mortal Kombat The cover art for Mortal Kombat 11 is revealed and it brings us just about what would expect from a new Mortal Kombat game We are under a week out from the bigger Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event but we still have something small to keep us going until then. Not that the surprise trailer NetherRealm Studios gave us back at the Game Awards was not enough, we did need something to hold us until now. Then again until April 23rd when Mortal Kombat 11 hits the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. I am sure that is what the reveal event will do but for now we will look at the latest bit to keep us going. Anthem Two new videos for Anthem are out there detailing two of the main javelins in Anthem with some different loadouts Earlier in the week we saw how good Anthem could potentially look if you are willing to buy all the latest and greatest hardware out there. It is what they seem to be pushing out at CES this year more than anything. That does not always sell games though so we are back with more from BioWare for the game so we can at least see how it could play in our hands. February 22nd is getting ever closer and I know I want to see how each of the javelins in Anthem will handle or differ. Read More...

Catherine Classic A surprise release for Catherine is here as Catherine Classic is now available to purchase and download on PC The basics are stated in the headline as Catherine Classic has just launched on PC as of today. You read that correctly as it was just rumored a day ago as Atlus and SEGA had it slip that the game was rated in Germany. Usually, that means that we have a bit of time before launch, but it was all in prep to get Catherine Classic out today. Would that have been awkward had it been rated to a point where it would not launch? Read More...

Anthem During the NVIDIA CES 2019 keynote, new Anthem gameplay was revealed that shows just how good Anthem could look if you are willing to go PC CES 2019 has kicked off and that means we will start seeing all kinds of videos and trailers showing off the new tech coming just as we have here for Anthem. We have a new bit of gameplay to look at here but the bigger news here is that DLSS is coming to the PC version of the game for those who use an NVIDIA card to drive their games. I am sure that EA would like you to remember that Anthem is coming and that you should pre-order it now, but that would outshine the news that you can get it bundled in with your new GeForce RTX graphics card, laptops, or PCs. The Walking Dead A trailer for the next episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season is here with a look forward and a few callbacks to The Walking Dead franchise Next week we will be digging back into the story of The Walking Dead: The Final Season and seeing how everything will wrap up. We should know this already as Skybound gave us that release date not too long ago after picking up the shattered pieces of the original development team. We will see the end to Clem's story on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We will also get to see just how the house that made The Walking Dead will influence things to bring the story deeper into the world some of us have been enjoying for quite a while. Read More...

Fallout The first update coming to Fallout 76 for 2019 has a few more details now with one being a solution to what Fallout 76 players have started No matter where you stand with Fallout 76, you have to admit that it looks like Bethesda is trying to do the right thing with the game. Sure, there have been missteps and many fans out there who have been completely let down by the game as it was not what they were expecting, but at least it has not been completely abandoned and we are seeing more updates to the game. More than just bug fixes too as we have yet another update for Fallout 76 that sounds like it will be bringing along some new things to the game as well as solve some of the issues that players have fixed themselves. At least fixed without having true Mod support for the game. Read More...

Close To The Sun A new publisher is here for Close To The Sun as we head into 2019 and also get some new gameplay for Close To The Sun too boot We have not had too many updates for Close To The Sun here on the site, but it is high time that we did. Especially since we are all clamoring for some gameplay and to find out just when the game is going to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Something that should be a little sooner and easier to do as Storm In A Teacup is now all partnered up with Wired Productions to do just that for Close To The Sun. A happy day indeed for those looking to see if the Unreal Grant was going to be enough or if they were going to be able to focus on making the game we have been looking for since its announcement. It is not too much in terms of the latest version of the franchise that HumaNature Studios is still working on, but it is just a bit more to keep us going. Also a bit more to make sure we all know where the original ToeJam & Earl is coming from, in case you forgot, and how this will be a high definition version of the franchise. Read More...
