Get Ready To Hide And Shriek With This New Horror Multiplayer Title
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Hide And Shriek A new horror multiplayer title, Hide And Shriek, has been announced and Hide And Shriek has you dealing out all of the horror and not the developers If you were wondering where all of the good horror games where this month then let me introduce you to Hide And Shriek. This is a new multiplayer horror title in the works just for Halloween from Funcom. You know, the ones who brought us The Park last year and now want to keep the horror flowing with Hide And Shriek this year on the PC; even though the two titles are not linked in any other way outside of the developers and platform. If nothing though it is a new horror title to get added into the month of fear where things do seem to be a bit lacking this year in general. Read More...

Final Fantasy VII Remake's Combat Looks The Same But Is Different
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Final Fantasy New gameplay for Final Fantasy VII Remake has surfaced and it looks like Final Fantasy VII's combat system is getting a little bit of an overhaul It has been quite some time since we've had some updates on Final Fantasy VII Remake and how it is coming along. I know Square Enix gave us a nice trailer and all of that about a year ago and there have been peppered bit here and there but nothing solid for a while. They are focusing on Final Fantasy XV right now and the various other titles in the franchise so it makes a little bit of sense but that doesn't change our need and want for new content to look and/or hear about the game. Specifically a release date for it but I'm guessing that will all be in due time. Read More...

Amazon Game Studio Is Bring Us A Trio With New World, Breakaway, And Crucible
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
New World Three new games have been announced, New World, Breakaway, And Crucible, from Amazon Games Studios and all three have a description and videos for New World, Breakaway, And Crucible It's not every day that we get three titles announced from one developer but TwitchCon is a fun thing and now we have New World, Breakaway, and Crucible to look at. All three of which are in the works from Amazon Game Studio and headed to the PC at some time in the near future. The most interesting part about New World, Breakaway, and Crucible is that it looks like all three will have some pretty intense Twitch add-ins but the full details are still not completely defined just yet. You Are Not Expected To Survive Battlefield 1's First 12 Minutes
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Battlefield 1 The first twelve minutes of Battlefield 1 have been released and it looks like Battlefield 1 is redefining how the war shooter plays out Last week we had a small showing of how Battlefield 1's campaign will play out as well as a few details on all of that. If you don't remember, DICE is taking a different path for the story and not having us follow one person or team along a path during WWI. This kind of shocked a few people out there but EA has put a lot of cash into Battlefield 1 and with its launch on October 21st here is seemed like an odd thing to hold onto up to now. Of course, many people don't look to the franchise for the campaign but it is a thing and it was very odd to hear. Read More...

Assassin's Creed Rumors Fly Again As Egypt Might Be The Next Location
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Assassin's Creed New rumors for Assassin's Creed have popped up and if they are true it looks like the next Assassin's Creed could be set in Ancient Egypt It looks like those Assassin’s Creed rumors keep popping up all over the place and it looks like we get to add one more to the list. At least if the "leaked" information pans out to be something truthful taken from Ubisoft and not some crazy hoax to get the internet all in a tizzy. Especially as the latest rumor and "leak" seem to point to the next Assassin's Creed taking place in Ancient Egypt. At least if you read into what is actually seen a bit more than just seeing a picture of rendered objects. Read More...

Paragon Has Another Hero Fall From The Skies With Kwang
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Paragon A new hero for Paragon is coming and this one brings some great sword work to Paragon among many other things Tomorrow marks another day and another hero coming to Paragon for all of us to learn how to master and destroy everything else with. As Epic Games continues to build up the roster to crazy levels for the game we get what feels like another character we've seen before on the surface added into the fray. Of course I could be wrong as looks can be deceiving but we won't know until the next Paragon update goes live on October 4th for the PS4 and PC version of the game. Kwang is part of the free content that we will forever be getting as it seems so we can rest assured there at least. Read More...

Let's Lower The Chaos With More Dishonored 2 Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 A second video of Dishonored 2's Clockwork Mansion has been released so we can see how Dishonored 2's stealth play works a bit Last week we had a chance to see some new Dishonored 2 gameplay that took us through an area called the Clockwork Mansion in the game. We had both a run by what looked like a novice player and then one run by Arkane Studios directly; both of which caused a whole lot of chaos and lacked any finesse to get through it all. It looks like Bethesda wanted to make sure that all of us looking forward to Dishonored 2, that have different style of play, get a taste of the mission as now we have it running through yet again but on Low Chaos mode. Mode being a general term and not a setting here. Read More...

Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered Is Giving Us Some Flashbacks
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 3rd of October 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Call Of Duty A new trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has released and it gives quite a recap of what happened in Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare the first time It seems a bit odd to have a launch trailer for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered already given that it doesn't come out until November 4th but that doesn't mean we don't have it already. To be fair this was just a remastered version of the game Infinity Ward gave us so long ago but it does feel odd that Activision would pump out the trailer so far in advance. Oh well. Read More...

Titanfall 2 Shows Off How Cinematic We All Hope The Game Will Be
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Titanfall 2 A new Titanfall 2 trailer is out and it shows off how cinematic Titanfall 2 could be in single player mode Here we go with yet another hyped up video for Titanfall 2 and this one shows off just how we should imagine playing the game in single player mode should feel like. This is of course no knock on the hard work that Respawn has put into the game so far but it does look like EA has some grander scheme in mind when it comes to players playing through the campaign and just how they should feel. At least that is my takeaway from the latest cinematic trailer for Titanfall 2 that has just been released. All to hype us up for the October 28th release on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Read More...

Let's Sink Our Teeth Into Vampyr's Combat & Upgrading System
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Vampyr A few new screenshots for Vampyr have been released and with those come a few updates on how combat in Vampyr will actually work We've seen the combat in Vampyr a bit in motion already but there wasn't any real explanation on how it all plays or why we need to do anything other than the amazing supernatural attacks that we've seen Jonathan do. I think this is part and partial to Dontnod not really showing much of the game since it was officially announced but also, as I am sure, Focus Home Interactive wanted them to hold off so they could hype the game a bit more. Thankfully that hype is on us right now as we have a better explanation on just how Vampyr's combat system is going to work and mix into the core game in general. Read More...

Combat Is Yet Another Skill We'll Have To Master In Mafia 3
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 30th of September 2016 - 05:00 PM ]
Mafia 3 Another gameplay video for Mafia 3 has been released and this one shows off the various forms of combat Mafia 3 will give us One of the key points in Mafia 3 was of course all of the crazy combat that we've seen since the first announcement of the game. It has been showcased many times by Hangar 13 over the last few months and apparently it looks like 2K Games thinks that we may still not fully grasp what we are going to get to do in the game. I know I was pretty set on what Mafia 3 was going to bring us in terms of combat on October 7th here but maybe some of you have missed out so far. That or maybe some of you just want to see some badass combat gameplay. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of September 2016 - 09:00 PM ]
Dishonored 2 New gameplay for Dishonored 2 has been released as well as another pre-order incentive that could put Dishonored 2 in your hands early There are some cool things going on for Dishonored 2 right now and hopefully you are lucky enough to be around them. If you haven't been paying attention, Bethesda is hosting a few small events that the public can go to check out the game a bit early. For those not lucky enough to be near any of those events, there is still hope for you as it looks like Arkane Studios has put together another great bit of gameplay for Dishonored 2 as well as given a new reason to pre-order the game before November 11th. Doing so will land you the game early after all. Read More...

Let's Spoil The Prologue Of Gears Of War 4 For You
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 29th of September 2016 - 07:00 PM ]
Gears Of War 4 A new Gears Of War 4 video has been posted and this time we get to see the first twenty minutes of Gears Of War 4 in action before launch October 11th is almost here and that means that Gears Of War 4 is also almost here. I'm sure that The Coalition is starting to freak a bit as the date looms ever closer but at this point all they have to do is sit and wait to see how well it sells on the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. I'm going to guess rather well personally. Given the nature of the beast that is Gears Of War 4 though it looks like they aren't going to just kick back and wait as now they are here with a nice long bit of gameplay. Read More...

Here's our review on how they did He we go with the final leg of Minecraft: Story Mode as the eight episode of the IP has been released and we can see how this story is finally going to end.
