Just as we guessed earlier this week, the release date for Batman: The Telltale Series' fourth episode will be on November 22nd for all of those looking to continue their journey as the Bat on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, iOS, Android, and PC platforms. It looks like Telltale Games will be there to save your holiday weekend in sorts so we should all be thankful for that. Not only that though but it also looks like all of the events we've experienced with Batman so far are about to go off the rails as we will see Bruce go to Arkham and also meet one of his greatest foes in history. Only here it will be for the first time as this is still an early story for that characters.
While I only see the name John Doe show up in the cast list here, when you watch the launch trailer just below for the new episode of Batman you will see that smile that we all know to love. That and a voice close to the one that gets us giddy or cringe depending on your love for the Joker. Of course this was one of the characters I was glad not to have seen so far in the adventure so far as he is the usual "go to" but given how Telltale has handled the series so far I am quite excited to see where they will take the character; if they actually do anything more than have him just be part of the Arkham experience. I can see that being the case but we'll find out next week now won't we?
Batman: The Telltale Series — Guardian Of Gotham
Penguin has taken control of Wayne Enterprises, and the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane has a new guest - you - Bruce Wayne. With the Batman removed from the streets of Gotham City, Harvey Dent's forces and the Children of Arkham are at war, with innocent citizens caught in the crossfire. To escape the 'comforts' of your padded cell, you must choose allies to aid in your escape, even if they aren't the sort to put a smile on your face. How far are you willing to go for justice? For vengeance? What now, Dark Knight?
Another interesting thing of note here is that in this video I keep seeing Harvey Dent with the horrible facial scars that we know make him Two Face. In my play through he is still as smooth skinned as ever which is very curious to me to see how and why he would be taking the actions we see here. Although it is noted that this episode of Batman: The Telltale Series will have a severe branch in the third act of the episode that will take many of us down drastically different roads. If that will be like the ending of the second season of The Walking Dead or not is still to be seen but I am interested to see how that could affect the overall story. Maybe it could change the final and true villain of the fifth episode?
Are you excited to see what Telltale Games does with what is assumed to be the Joker here in Batman? Have you been playing and still have a Harvey Dent that has not been marred at all? Do you think that the story option will be as drastic as ever or will it just be one that can be looped into the same narrative while making us feel like it was huge? Let us know all of your thoughts on this down in the comments and discuss. For more on Batman: The Telltale Series as it comes, be sure to stick right here on the site. This is looking to be another amazing tale in the franchise and for the developer and we are going to keep bringing you everything that we can.
