Talk about an awesome announcement at this year's E3, Dead Space 3! Yes I am one of those people out there who still love the franchise even though EA is milking it for everything. But Dead Space was one of the games in the recent years that revitalized the survival horror genre for me. Needless to say I did everything I could to fit in a viewing of the game. While originally this was shown behind closed doors at the show, recently the game's Executive Producer (Steve Papoutsis) posted a video showcasing exactly everything we all got to see on the show floor. E3 2012 Impressions: 007 Legends

I know what you are thinking, why is Activision trying to milk the franchise even more, especially since the last two attempts fizzled out and left a sour taste in a lot of gamers' mouths? It did for me too. So I was a bit sketchy on actually giving 007 Legends my time at E3. But I did and I'll be honest that what I saw should have been the way that the company should have gone in the first place by trying to capture the amazingness that was Golden Eye. So the demo started off with a quick overview of the first "mission" announced base on the film Moonraker. It is still no big surprise that Black Ops II was one of the bigger titles being shown at E3 this year. Even with all the gripes I hear about "another Call Of Duty game?" it still had lines snaking and wrapping the Activision booth. So that to me shows that both A), y'all like to bitch just to bitch and B) the fans obviously still want the franchise to continue on. Aggrocast Episode One Hundred: The Epic Reunion

This is it. The episode you've all been waiting for - number 100. I bring in a bunch of new and old friends to podcast together. We talk video games, last week's E3 and reminisce the humble beginnings of Aggrogamer and the Aggrocast. The first half of the show has regular characters Matt and Corey, as well as Aggrogamer's own Chief Editor, fresh from E3 2012, David Becker. E3 2012 Hands On: Dishonored

Here we go with another big title that everyone and their mother were talking about leading up to E3. For me on the other hand, Dishonored had a bit of "been there played that" vibe from all of the trailers, screens and info given out. But it wasn't until the E3 demo and hands on that really set my thoughts about the game. Let me break it down for what I saw and found out. First off, it is completely worth noting that during the demo it was let loose that the some visual minds behind BioShock, Half Life 2 and some mechanical minds behind Deus Ex are working on this title from inception. Dishonored Trailer For E3

Can we talk about Dishonored for a minute and can we talk about how creepy the trailer is. I mean honestly, the trailer is creepy. It is very Jack the Ripper. You're not going to get enough from this trailer to determine exactly what the hell is going on, ala Bethesda, but between the explosions, pretty fireworks and the creepiest soundtrack I have ever heard, I cannot wait to play. Nothing says creepy like a bunch of kids singing that shanties of the sea. What we do know so far, is that this seems to be a blend of BioShock and Assassin's Creed. Read More...

When are publishers and studios going to realize that they cannot trust humans with sensitive information? Call Of Duty: Black Ops II was technically announced before the company made the announcement or gave us the announcement trailer. Retailers who got information early let things slip. Game sites that received information in terms to prep the news let things "leak." It Looks Like We Are Playing A Southpaw In Dishonored

In a world where most people are dominated by their right hand it makes sense that most game heroes are represented as righties and not lefties. That's why I find it interesting that in the new screens for Bethesda's Dishonored it shows the main character holding the firearms in his left hand and secondary or melee weapons in his right. Not shown very well in the announcement trailer or in many of the other original assets, but here in these game play shots it looks like it is going to be the case. Is it a big deal? Read More...

Let's Go Hunting With New Assassin's Creed III Screens

In Assassin's Creed III it has been announced that one of the ways to make some scratch to upgrade will be through the form of hunting in the wilderness. Connor can collect pelts and the like and sell them and depending on the quality of the pelt and kill he can make a lot of cash. Cash he will most likely need to use to upgrade all of his stuff. Looks Like The Assassin's Creed III "Collector's Edition" Has Been Outed

Well more the "collector's edition" and I'm guessing its not so expesive younger siblings as well. Looks like we will have a few choices to make when it comes to pre-ordering or out right buying when it comes to Assassin's Creed III. There are three different "editions" of the game for us to spend out hard earned money on. As usual there is a "Special Edition" that will most likely just be a fancy way of saying "here's a free upgrade for being a fan but not really because anyone can just buy it."
