Sometimes it takes nice little videos like the following Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX one to show how far we have advanced in the gaming world over the years. It's been only nine years since Kingdom Hearts II was released and I remember losing my brain when I saw how spectacular those looked back then. Now we get to see all of the hard work that has been put into upgrading the second wave of titles for the new collection from Disney and Square Enix.
The video will show a considerable upgrade to all of the titles in the mix for Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX but it also shows something that kind of makes me a bit sad. On top of the higher resolution textures and increased polygons it looks like there are full changes to specific world costumes in the game. The biggest one looks to be in Halloween Town and Christmas Town from The Nightmare Before Christmas. I kind of proffered the original costumes and I only hope that this video just shows one of the options and not the only one. I liked Mummy Donald…
Kingdom Hearts 2.5 ReMIX is still slated for release her in North America on December 2nd and December 5th in Europe. It will contain HD versions of Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, and Kingdom Hearts Re:coded as well as all the bells and whistles that come with the PS3 games nowadays. Not to mention a whole new experience to keep us all sated until Kingdom Hearts III finally comes out.
