by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 7th of October 2024 - 09:00 PM ]
Alien The Alien IP is carrying on further with the official announcement that we are going to be seeing Alien Isolation 2 down the line It is crazy to think that it has been ten years, almost to the day, that Alien Isolation dropped out there and changed not only the IP but how many of the games had been received and done before. Creative Assembly did an amazing job and it is still a title that many will go back to and play to get that solid suspense. Now, on the anniversary of the release, it looks as if we have the official confirmation that Alien Isolation 2 is now in the works. Read More...

The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off What Happens When All Chances Are Used Up The reviews for Alien Isolation are starting to pour in and your last chance to pre-order what looks to be an amazing title is running out. Light Up And Get Stomped Out In Alien Isolation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of October 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off Why Lighting Up Will Only Lead To You Getting Stomped Out Well it looks like things have just gone from bad to worse in the Alien Isolation "how not to play the game series" as now we are seeing blatant things most of gamers would never do in a game. At least if you watch the latest two videos from Creative Assembly and Sega just on that. We have one where Amanda chooses to use a flare to distract the Alien but then stupidly runs over an active android for a tag-teamed death. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 29th of September 2014 - 05:00 PM ]
The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off How hiding and crowd control won't help you survive the game Looks like we have a few more ways on how to not play Alien Isolation here for our viewing pleasure to burn out the week we have until launch. This time around Creative Assembly and Sega are pin pointing that there really is nowhere safe on the Nostromos. Not only that but we will have to herd humans and androids alike to make sure that Amanda makes it out of there alive. This of course is not new information for Alien Isolation but it is a new look at the challenges and gameplay we will come to expect. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 9/15/14 — 9/19/14
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of September 2014 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games It Tokyo Game Show time so that means there should be a whole lot of new news in the area of video games. Did I say should? I meant there is and was. More than you could shake an eleven foot pole out so we had to break out the twelve foot pole to make sure all of the shaking was properly done and we were able to cover as much as we could in the world of video games and gaming. Believe me when I say we weren't even able to get to everything that there was in the industry this week and we'll have to keep the news flowing. We were able to cover quite a few thing s in video games though. Read More...

In Alien Isolation Everyone Will Hear You Scream
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 19th of September 2014 - 09:00 PM ]
The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off Why You Don't Scream For Help Everyone knows the old adage that "in space no one can hear you scream." Well in Alien Isolation it looks like that is the next way that you can have the titular Alien upon you and ripping you apart. Yes, we have another video showing us how not to play Alien Isolation and this time it looks like taking the quieter option when traversing the ship to safety would be the best choice to survive. Although I don't think I hear any other screaming but the Alien's in the video below as the noise is made by trying to blow the thing up. Read More...

Survivor Mode Explained For Alien Isolation
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The latest 'developer diary' of sorts for Alien Isolation explains what Survivor Mode is for the game In the past weeks we've been treated with fun looks at how NOT to play Alien Isolation trough Sega and Creative Assembly's 'How Will You Survive' campaign. We've seen why going guns-a-blazing is a bad idea, why we shouldn't hide in air vents, and also just running from the problem will not help you survive Alien Isolation. It turns out that these are not just clever little videos to help promote the game but they could also be mixed into the Survivor Mode that has been seen at conventions since E3 this year. Okay, that may all be a bit of a stretch to try and link everything here back into this Alien Isolation topic but hear me out. Read More...

It's In The Vents Of Alien Isolation…
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 16th of September 2014 - 07:00 PM ]
The How Will You Survive Video Series Continues For Alien Isolation Showing Off Why You Don't Hide In The Air Vents You would think by now that it would be common knowledge not to hide in air vent in Alien Isolation or in any horror situation for that matter. It is a tight fit for most and usually leads to a dead end quickly. They may work wonders for Batman but face it, all but one of you reading this are not Batman. Hiding in air vents when being hunted down is just not a good idea. Read More...
