The Alien IP is carrying on further with the official announcement that we are going to be seeing Alien Isolation 2 down the line

It is crazy to think that it has been ten years, almost to the day, that Alien Isolation dropped out there and changed not only the IP but how many of the games had been received and done before. Creative Assembly did an amazing job and it is still a title that many will go back to and play to get that solid suspense. Now, on the anniversary of the release, it looks as if we have the official confirmation that Alien Isolation 2 is now in the works. It may have taken a long time to get there, but here we go and maybe we will get to see more of the horror side of things fleshed out as the IP lives and breathes onward into the future.

This announcement comes from the Creative Director of Alien Isolation over on the official X/Twitter account for the game. There is not much else to go on for what will be coming in the game but it is coming and has already had some work put in for it. Not even a proposed or hopeful release window for us to look at like a few years down the road. Just that it is coming and will be a sequel to Alien Isolation. So, it might not even be getting the "2" added on given how some of the naming conventions have changed in the run of the IP as well. Given the other entries coming for the Xenomorphs in TV and Film, the guessing and speculation for the finer details can now start to dribble out.
