You most likely saw the Destiny game play footage during the PlayStation event at E3. You also most likely saw my Destiny recording from the Activision booth. If I have to say one thing to start it off, Bungie and Activision kept the ball rolling with Destiny and not hiding anything special behind the closed doors of E3. While yes there was a demo that people stood in line for up to two hours to get a new look at Destiny, for the most part it was exactly what was shown during the Sony press conference at the start of the show. Recently a Japanese video game news magazine called Famitsu had a conversation with Tetsuya Nomura, the director of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, in an attempt to get some more information about the game. Thankfully we were able to get a translation of the information. Nomura has confirmed that the game will pick up where Dream Drop Distance left off and will be the final game in the "Dark Seeker" saga that was started in the first Kingdom Hearts game. Keeping to their word, Activision and Infinity Ward showed the world most of what they had for E3 during their Call Of Duty: Ghosts All Access event the Sunday before the show began proper. With the fall of the mighty THQ and the purchasing of South Park: The Stick Of Truth by Ubisoft, all of us have been questioning what may or may not change in the final product. Especially since Ubisoft has it's hearts with the French and the Canadians and the minds behind South Park love to tear them apart. It's been ten years since we first met Sora in Kingdom Hearts and watched him team up with Donald and Goofy on a quest to find King Mickey and ultimately save the various worlds in the Disney universe from the clutches of the Heartless. Through the next nine games to be released we have watched Sora and company grow up while facing new foes and making new friends along the way. As well as learning of the history of the Kingdom Hearts universe and everyone in it. So just as Konami did earlier, Activision is hosting a PrE3 event. The only difference is that this 30 minute event is all about one title, Call Of Duty: Ghosts. I am so glad to see that South Park: The Stick Of Truth is still moving forward and striving given the loss of the original publisher and completely missing the launch date. I am sure we are still trying to take in the Xbox One reveal and the odd focus on TV and Sports. But let's skip all of that for now and focus on the tail end of the reveal. Activision has confirmed that the rumored Call Of Duty: Ghosts will in fact be the next installment in the long running FPS franchise. Not many details on the game were revealed by Activision aside from a teaser trailer and a promise for a bigger reveal during the Xbox: The Next Generation Revealed Event on May 21st. Activision also announced that the game will be released on November 5th for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC, PS4 and the new Xbox. Back in 2011 we were all introduced to the wonders that could be a Zombie RPG with Dead Island. Two years later now we get to see how everything has progressed story-wise and engine-wise with Dead Island: Riptide. Earlier this month we had the official announcement of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with not much to go on other than the time period of the story and the culture it is based around. During the reign of Blackbeard and pirates for those who are just now following along. No matter which you are, we now have a bit of game play from Black Flag and it looks like Ubisoft is trying to focus on the naval combat that debuted back in ACIII not so very long ago. It also looks like we will get to punch sharks in the gills during underwater scenes of the game, so there is also that.
