In an age of sequels and cashing in, it is no surprise that Mario&Sonic will be returning to the Nintendo Wii and DS later this year.  Already leaked two days ago, today Sega and Nintendo jointly announced the great duo's return to Olympic competition.  I am sure that also returning with this installment will be a lot of waggle and sore arms.  The press release mentions use of the balance board which will be an improvement for certain, but here's hoping they also implement Wii Motion Plus for more accurate gameplay.  No screens or gameplay as of yet, but you can view the trailer now on their launch site. Last week Hudson Entertainment released screen shots on Onslaught, hailed the first First Person Shooter on WiiWare. Now, they have finally pulled back the curtains on the official Onslaught online page. The new, flashier vehicle now provides more insight into the story, wiimote and nunchuk button layouts for both foot and vehicle movement, small weapons and vehicle layouts and some finer details on on-line play. Epics Rod Fergusson made a post in the Gears of War 2 forums about a "proposed rank change", hopefully making the rank system more experienced based whenever a third update comes out. Fergusson writes ""What if, instead of skill rank, we instead showed your experience level."             Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, spoke with CNBC last week while at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. During the interview in which he discussed several economic points regarding the video game industry, Kotick made mention of the fact that he company is working on a title called DJ Hero.   "We have the product called DJ Hero that's coming out later this year which is a turntable that you can actually play competitively and spin discs and mix songs."   FreeStyleGames, was purchased by Activision on September 12, 2008 to help produce downloadable content for games in the Guitar Hero series and are set to develop the game. The Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War II (RTS) multiplayer beta is now available to everybody who didn't get Soulstorm today over Steam. The beta is 5.4 Gigabytes or 5400 Megabytes. Dawn of War II will come out February 19th and will have a fairly robust campaign mode featuring the Space Marines. The Multiplayer portion allows you to play as the Space Marines, the Orcs, The Eldar, and the Tyranids.The game mimics Company of Heroes's cover system and now includes the ability to destroy cover, much to the delight of Gears fans everywhere.
