A recent update to the Mortal Kombat X product page on Amazon has revealed Johnny Cage plays a huge role in the game outside of fathering a new fighter At the end of last week Johnny Cage was only rumored to be in Mortal Kombat X. Now, thanks to an update on Amazon for the product page, we have a character render and character description for Mr. Cage. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Has Been Delayed Until 2016
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 11th of March 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
Naughty Dog has just announced that Uncharted 4: A Thief's End will be delayed until Spring of 2016 without much explanation I hope you weren't planning on playing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End this year. Why? Well it looks like the game has now been delayed officially by Naughty Dog. Of course the usual suspect of "more polish" should be assumed but surprisingly is not the excuse given for the delay. A delay that will push Uncharted 4: A Thief's End's release out to sometime during the Spring of 2016. So pretty much a year from about now we should be seeing Uncharted 4: A Thief's End gracing the PS4 but until then we are going to have to just be teased with footage and screens. Read More...

The Real Reasons For Batman: Arkham Knight's Mature Rating
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
The ERSB has posted the explanation for why Batman: Arkham Knight is being rated 'M' for mature and it is more violence based The fact that Batman: Arkham Knight has been set as a 'M' rated title came as a bit of shock to many when we first heard about it. Up until now Rocksteady has kept everything at least a 'T' for Teen rating with all of the past Arkham titles and I am sure that Warner Bros. wanted to keep it that way as bumping the rating could and most likely will exclude some players and fans of the franchise from experiencing Batman: Arkham Knight. I feel for you up until the point of me getting an awesome and dark game for my PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

Have A Look At Boss Key's Project BlueStreak In Pre-Alpha
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
At PAX East Boss Key showed off a pre-alpha teaser for Project BlueStreak, the developer's first title currently in the works If you missed out the first look at Project BlueStreak during PAX East then you are in luck as we are here to help you out. It looks like Boss Key Productions, the studio started by Cliff Bleszinski after he retired and then came back into game development, only wanted to make those who were able to attend the panel during the convention feel special for a few days as now the whole world can see the non-pirated video. Okay, that may be a little harsh if taken out of context but none the less we have the first pre-alpha teaser for Project BlueStreak which is the developers first upcoming title that will be, as we could guess, an FPS using the Unreal 4 engine to build an run the whole thing. I'm sure you want to see what is in store for us with Project BlueStreak and the high frame-rate that Boss Key wants to ensure we have with the game so I'll let you have a watch. Read More...

It's Time To Launch Into The New Battlefield Hardline Trailer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 09:02 PM ]
Battlefield Hardline's release is upon us and Visceral Games with EA have released the launch trailer to tantalize us all more Battlefield Hardline is out in just over a week so you know what time it is? LAUNCH TRAILER TIME! Now queue the wacky sounds and inappropriate screams as we move on to watch what Visceral Games and EA have to show us to try and lure in those who are still holding out on Battlefield Hardline. This goes double for all of you out there who are bitching that it will only come with the resolution of 900p on the PS4 and 720p to the Xbox One. Most of you won't even see the difference but those in the know throw around the numbers and you latch on as you know the difference. Read More...

Atlas Is Getting Mugged In Episode 2 Of Tales From The Borderlands
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The second episode for Tales From The Borderlands has a release date and a new trailer showing off some of the action we can all look forward to It's been some time since we had the last episode of Tales From The Borderlands hit our gaming machines. I guess it would be the first episode and there has been almost a 5 month gap in between which sadly looks like it is placing Tales From The Borderlands on the same level as releases for The Wolf Among Us. Maybe I am being a bit harsh here but this is one of my favorite titles from Telltale as of late and didn't want to have to wait until March 17th for the second episode. Yes, that is the date that we will be getting the second episode for the game. Read More...

New Gameplay For The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Straight Out Of PAX East
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 9th of March 2015 - 05:01 PM ]
CD Projekt Red has released some new gameplay footage for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that was shown to fans during PAX East over the weekend Another year and another PAX East in the bag that was filled with all kinds of new videos like the following one for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The people over at CD Projekt Red sure do love to show off all they have for this game so far and they have treated us all to another seven or so minutes of gameplay for the game. Just the kind of thing we've all been waiting for as we have to wait so much longer to actually start to dig into the 100+ hours of gameplay that The Witcher 3 is being claimed to have. Unlike other titles out there, even though we've had hours of gameplay shown over the last years of time this doesn't feel like we have seen all of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before the launch. Is PlayStation Starting A Firmware Beta Program On The PS4?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2015 - 10:01 PM ]
New leaked screenshots and emails claim that PlayStation may be starting up a firmware beta program for the PS4 on the 2.50 update It looks like, if rumors are true, that MVP PlayStation 4 owners may be getting a firmware beta testing program. I state rumors as this information is all based on a few emails and screenshots that have been spread online showing off that this is fact and a few things that may be included in the next PS4 firmware release. This would be the 2.50 version and not some small "stability" update as these images and everything detail a few new features we may be getting on the PS4 in the near future. Read More...

Rumor: Another Two Characters For Mortal Kombat X?
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 6th of March 2015 - 06:00 PM ]
From recent interviews and screenshots it looks like Mortal Kombat X may include playable Johnny Cage and Blind Kenshi Others are stating that it has been confirmed that Johnny Cage will be coming back for Mortal Kombat X. Others as in other outlets who are basing this all off of a recent interview, that has been pulled offline by Warner Bros., where one of the senior producers on Mortal Kombat X stated directly that Johnny would be playable in the full version of the game. This interview comes from Game Crate and has been spread all over by now but it looks like the PR cleanup crew has been doing their job to keep character announcements on their terms and not a slip up by some of the people working on the game. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of March 2015 - 06:01 PM ]
Rock Band 4 has been officially announced by Harmonix and is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One this year It's been rumored and speculated on and now we can confirm that Rock Band is making the jump to the PS4 and Xbox One via Rock Band 4. Granted this isn't in any shape of an HD "remaster" of any past version as the speculation pointed at, it is a whole new Rock Band for the next generation consoles. The next best part about this announcement is that Rock Band 4 will be hitting our homes sometime this year. The best guess will be sometime around November or December of this year but Harmonix has claimed that Rock Band 4 will be out in 2015. Read More...
