The Dead Rise Again At SDCC With The Walking Dead Escape
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 2nd of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
The Walking Dead Escape is back at SDCC 2015 giving all of us a feel for what a Survival Horror game really feels like in the world of The Walking Dead Looks like the SDCC tradition just keeps going as The Walking Dead Escape is making its return again to SDCC 2015. This would be the live action, survival horror experience set in the world of The Walking Dead that graced Petco Park back in 2012 and has been going strong ever since. The only difference this year is it would seem that this video game-like experience is being brought to life even more not with just the TV show but also it sounds like the other media platforms and versions are making a show during The Walking Dead Escape. Notably one of the best characters from the franchise; Negan. Read More...

See The Uncharted 4: A Thief's End E3 Demo Most Haven't Seen
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
Not all of the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End E3 demo was shown to the world during the Sony Press Conference but we have that second half of the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End goodness just for you I'm going to start this off with a small spoiler alert that not everyone at E3 gets to see the same demo and that was also the case when it came to the Uncharted 4: A Thief's End demo shown to the world during the Sony conference. Not to out of the norm as the powers that be like to give news sites and publications a little more to look at to spice up their coverage; not that Naughty Dog really needs any extra spice for Uncharted 4 here but that seems to always be the norm in the recent years. I could go on and on all day about that here but that isn't why we are here right now as we have something nice to look at for Uncharted 4: A Thief's End instead. Read More...

The Assassin's Creed Experience Is Returning For SDCC 2015
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 1st of July 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
Just in case you couldn't prove your Assassin's Creed merit at last year's SDCC Assassin's Creed Experience, the event is returning and coming with a new Victorian London vibe If there is one great way to promote an Assassin's Creed title it was definitely the Assassin's Creed Experience at SDCC last year. Sadly though if you were not able to attend San Diego Comic Con or you didn't want to stand in the long line for a short experience that was the only way to experience it. If you want another chance though it looks like the Assassin's Creed Experience is returning again and this time it has the Assassin's Creed Syndicate makeover added into the mix with this time ending in a Leap Of Faith out of the Tower Of London. Here's That Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain 2015 E3 Demo
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 30th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
For those who were not able to see Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in action at E3 2015 we have you covered with over 40 minutes of The Phantom Pain gameplay Not too surprising was the fact that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain was one of the big titles that Konami had on the show floor for many to see at E3. What was a bit surprising, especially given all of the Kojima Productions drama, was the fact that their main demo was out in the open for all to see at specific intervals during the show. I would have thought that they would have had The Phantom Pain behind closed doors to keep questions to a minimum as they have in the past but I guess with the September 1st release date coming they wanted as many players seeing why they should pick up The Phantom Pain for their PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, or PC. This Week In Video Games 6/22/15 — 6/26/15
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 11:00 PM ]
A Lot Has Gone On This Week. Here's A Recap Of What We Covered In Video Games Finally we are back on track and getting all of the video game news and updates finally out there from E3. There was a whole lot to cover in the world of video games and we did our best to get everything we could during and after the week. This included some great hands on impressions for Mad Max, Guitar Hero Live, Drawn To Death, and Assassin's Creed Syndicate. These were also only some of the video games we were able to get to and we all know that there was a whole lot more but our team is limited here and we can only get to so many video games in the day. E3 2015 Hands On — Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Two years ago we had a huge splash with the Plants Vs. Zombies franchise during EA's big E3 showcasing and again they have blown it out of the potted plant again with Plants Vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2. Not only has Pop Cap been working on all their other IPs and keeping the original up and running but now we are getting a sequel to the amazing arena shooter that a lot of people may have never knew they wanted. E3 2015 Impressions — LEGO Dimensions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See LEGO Dimensions In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It The other toy-to-life games had their huge showings at E3 and now it is time for LEGO Dimensions, the latest one, to try and make its mark on the world. TT Games has a lot to live up to as not only do they have all of their other winning LEGO titles out there to compete with but also all of the other toy-to-life games that have had years of practice before LEGO Dimensions releases on September 27th for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii U, and PC. There are only so many games and toys we will all buy so there has to be something that will spark us to choose LEGO Dimensions over the others and thankfully out of E3 and what was shown I think Warner Bros. may have just that answer. E3 2015 Hands On — Assassin's Creed Syndicate
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 26th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Assassin's Creed Syndicate In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Another year and another Assassin's Creed and this year it is Assassin's Creed Syndicate for only the PS4, Xbox One and PC. It looks like Ubisoft is moving right along with jumping into the next/current gen hardware and they are bringing with it some new features for the franchise. Quite a few new features given the fact that Assassin's Creed Syndicate takes place in an era were the traditional warfare and weapons used to fight the Templar would get one arrested before walking out the door of their home. At least more so then given all of the advancement that the human race has made. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Drawn To Death
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Drawn To Death In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It There were games at E3 I had to see and then there where games like Drawn To Death that I HAD to see on the show floor. The prior meaning a work required viewing and the later a personal need and the Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency and Sony San Diego were able to comply in both a booth format as well as a fan experience while out there at E3. No better way than to show off how far Drawn To Death has progressed since PSX and get us all excited for this PS4 exclusive to launch sometime in the near future. At least hopefully near future as after playing Drawn To Death again I want to have it at my beckon call at all times. Read More...

E3 2015 Impressions — Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Deus Ex: Mankind Divided In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Square Enix was no slouch at this year's E3 as it had many amazing titles to show off and one that I was lucky enough to look at was Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. You may have remembered this one being teased quite a bit over three days on Twitch only for Eidos Montreal to full announce the game was coming. There is still no release date outside of 2016 but that doesn't mean we didn't have anything else to show for it on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. In fact not only did we all get to see a shinier example of Deus Ex: Mankind Divided but we also were able to see quite a few of the new features even though the level map was considered "small" for the purposes of the demo. E3 2015 Impressions — The Technomancer
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 25th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See The Technomancer In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Yet another title on the list of "those who tried to blow their wads before E3" would be The Technomancer since we all had a nice look and quite a bit of information handed to us before the expo even began. Thankfully though it looks like Spiders Games and Focus Home Interactive decided to leave some of the best for a behind closed doors-esque showing of The Technomancer. I state that because pretty much the whole video presentation that was shown can be seen below. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Blood Bowl 2
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 09:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Blood Bowl 2 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It E3 isn't always about the biggest and best AAA titles but also little gems like Blood Bowl 2. This would be the fantasy, strategy title from Cyanide Studios and Focus Home all set around an epic football game where there are little to no rules that need to be abided by. At least when it comes to the safety of the players on the field. Fans of the franchise should already be well aware of all of that for Blood Bowl 2 but none the less I was able to get my hands on it at the show well before the September release date for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the game. E3 2015 Hands On — Until Dawn
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 07:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Until Dawn In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It Not too long ago we were treated to the news that Until Dawn would be launching the on the PS4 on August 25th. Not too long from now even though it misses the mark of the best month for horror titles. None the less it is and Supermassive Games was on the scene at E3 to show off more for Until Dawn and it wasn't just a new character actor or short clip. In fact it was a whole new section for Until Dawn that takes place around chapter six of the game. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Disney Infinity 3.0
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 24th of June 2015 - 05:00 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Disney Infinity 3.0 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It One of the big splashes in the gaming industry has always been Star Wars and Disney Infinity 3.0 was on the scene to do just that as the other titles in the franchise. The big difference here is that it is able to strong-arm all levels of Star Wars fandom as it also mixes in all of the other IPs Disney Interactive can get their hands on from the parent company. When all is said and done though Ninja Theory is focusing on trying to make Disney Infinity 3.0 another great installment while playing on the nostalgia of the fans. Read More...

E3 2015 Hands On — Rock Band 4
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 23rd of June 2015 - 09:01 PM ]
While At E3 I Was Able To See Rock Band 4 In A More Intimate Setting Than Just The Trailer. Here's My Take On It The rhythm games are making a comeback strong this year and Rock Band 4 is not going to slouch around and let the others take the limelight it is known for. In fact at E3 the only way to get hands on with Rock Band 4 was to swing by the stages that Harmonix and Mad Catz had set up to play the game on as well as give you that extra feeling of being a rock star again. We are all going to feel this way when October 6th rolls around and we hook up Rock Band 4 to our PS4 or Xbox One. This isn't just your good old fashioned Rock Band though as Rock Band 4 is also coming along with a few more updates than just the better controllers and drum fillers during the game. Read More...
