A major update is coming for Past Cure and it aims to fix some of the big issues that Past Cure came with when it originally launched Maybe you remember, or maybe you do not remember the nice, small title called Past Cure from a few months back. It launched on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC and it seemed to have so much potential but left a lot of reviewers wondering a few things Phantom 8 Studio did in development. You can read that as Past Cure was not the best or worst received title of the time as it seemed to have a few holes in it or something that needed to be fleshed out. That was at least partly my take on it back then and I was hoping that something would be done to push it over into a title everyone needed to play. Read More...

The next fighter for SoulCalibur VI is here as Talim joins in the fight and tried to prove she has what it takes to win in SoulCalibur VI Let us add another fighter to the roster of SoulCalibur VI as it looks like Talim is on her way in now to take names and kick ass. She is the latest of characters announced for the game from Bandai Namco here and the roster just keeps expanding. Sooner or later, we will have the full roster as we loom ever closer to SoulCalibur VI's October 19th release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That day is not now, but at least we can add another name and face to it all. Read More...

A recent job posting for a known Call Of Duty developer points that there may be single-player back in the next Call Of Duty title The next Call Of Duty title has not even fully been revealed or launched yet and we are already looking toward the next possible one. At least the next one coming from Infinity Ward in terms of if we will see single-player make its way back into the franchise. Again, we have yet to see how a Call Of Duty title will go without a solid campaign mode as it looks like Black Ops IIII is going to be the first outing that Activision will be going with here on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Nonetheless, it looks like speculation on the next title having a campaign mode again has started to pop up again. Read More...

Another addition to the Dead Island franchise is here as Dead Island: Survivors has launched and available for your mobile device now If you were hoping for some more zombie killing fun, then get ready as Dead Island: Survivors has been launched today for all of those needs. Yes, today as Fishlabs wanted to get this out for us all to play and get back into the world of the franchise. All in a kind of base defense game that will bring us all of the fun and nostalgia of the original Dead Island but mobile for the iOS and Android platforms. It may not be the official sequel we have been waiting for since Deep Silver announced that so long ago, but it is something to hold us over. Read More...

It looks like We Happy Few has been officially rated in Australia and will now We Happy Few will be heading to shelves there as well More good news is here for We Happy Few as it looks like it will be heading to Australian markets after all. It was looking like it was not going to be making it a little while ago when Compulsion Games submitted it for review and it was denied by the board down there. After an appeal submitted and a lot of fan support, it looks like We Happy Few will be getting an R18+ rating now and will be keeping its August 10th release date on track for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That would be the same for the rest of us out there who are already secure in knowing we will be getting the game. Read More...

The first developer diary for Control is here to explain how the team went about constructing the world and story of Control So far, what has been shown for Control has been impressive and it looks like we could be getting ready for another great hit from Remedy. It does seem to tick off a lot of what we all have come to expect from the developer and now that their title will be coming to the PS4 on top of the Xbox One and PC, it looks like it could all be more promising for the team to do well. All that needs to happen now is to make sure that the world and story of Control work just as well as the mechanics and we are all golden for a nice new franchise to pine over. Not the loftiest of demands, but it is all something that we are all waiting for to find out the full details. Read More...

A minor update to The Quiet Man may provide a bit more to the core of the game and just what we may be experiencing in The Quiet Man If you caught the live stream that Square Enix had during E3 then you most likely caught the small teaser for the upcoming game called The Quiet Man. By small, I am mean that it showed very little in terms of actual gameplay and focused a bit more on the live action video that was there to tease it all. It was strange, but The Quiet Man caught the eyes of many even though it all looks to be a brawler, based on the video at least, and that the protagonist may be deaf and/or mute. Read More...

It looks like Bleach is now coming to Jump Force as three new characters get the announcement to Jump Force’s roster of anime characters Heads up for all those anime fans out there who have been keeping an eye on Jump Force since it was recently announced. It looks like three new characters have been announced for the game as Spike Chunsoft is adding in Bleach characters to the fight. Ichigo, Rukia, and Aizen to be exact will be joining the fight of Jump Force as you can see down in the screenshots. Not the largest of surprises as I expect to see all of the IPs that Bandai Namco have access to will be joining in when the game launches in 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read More...

New gameplay for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is here and it gives the rest of us a taste of what was on the floor at E3 for this Assassin’s Creed title There is no denying that we had a good showing of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey out at E3 even though it was one of the worst kept secrets of the pre-show. It always seems the case for this franchise as of late and Ubisoft either needs to embrace it or figure out a way to keep that all hidden before large shows like this. That is not why we are here though, as while we had some good gameplay and demos to experience for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on the floor, not everyone out there had a chance to see or experience them. A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week We have successfully made it through yet another week and a whole lot more to look at for all of the various video games coming out there. We were also able to wrap more of the coverage we had for E3 with Control and Just Cause 4 rounding things out a bit. We also had a chance to dig into some of those other video games out there that we happened to miss on the show floor like The Sinking City. Not to mention that we were also able to get out a review for Jurassic World Evolution out there to you all in the mix. Read More...

Four new screenshots for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey have popped up and they give us another hint as to what we may get to experience in Ancestors Another good chunk of time has passed since we last heard anything for Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, so it seems about time we had something. Given that Panache Digital Games announced the game almost three years ago and we still have little to no clue on the inner workings of the game as of yet, one would think it is time. Just as last time, it is but only slightly. Read More...

Footage from the closed alpha of Battlefield V is here and it gives us all a look at the current state of Battlefield V and its operations It looks like the closed alpha for Battlefield V is now in full swing and that means we have a whole lot more to look at the game in terms of gameplay here. At least for those who were not lucky enough to swag one of these keys as of yet and still want to see how DICE has changed up the franchise and set things up for the new title. I am sure that this number will dwindle given how things normally go, but if EA holds out more of those keys for those who pre-order Battlefield V, this may be one of the few ways to see how the game has progressed. More gameplay for The Sinking City has been revealed out of E3 and it gives us a better look at the open world of The Sinking City and its weirdness If you felt that the last look we had at The Sinking City was a little on the light side of things, you were right and we feel you. It was short and sweet and did not truly give us all much more to look at for the game and what Frogwares has been putting into the game to give us that full Cthulhu feeling of things. I am not saying it has not been there before, but there has not been a solid look at it all for the public as of yet and I know many want more for The Sinking City. Read More...

Even more gameplay for Metro Exodus is here from E3 and this bit explains a bit more than some of us did not get to experience in Metro Exodus so far If there is a true testament to how large the world of Metro Exodus and how vast the gameplay mechanics are in the game, it has to be with this latest showing of gameplay that we have here today. I was personally able to sit down and give the game a bit of a play a few weeks ago and see just what 4A Games had for us and, while impressed, apparently I missed out a whole lot given the different variations we all could have gone. That is why it is nice for Deep Silver to have a few more of these gameplay videos cut that highlight even more of the demo shown at E3 for Metro Exodus as I know I totally missed them all.
