Pathfinder
A new look at the character creation process for Pathfinder: Kingmaker is here and we get to see how replayable this version of Pathfinder can be
The day is almost here and we can all take a shot at the Pathfinder: Kingmaker adventure path in its new virtual form. This has been a title I have been keeping a close eye on for some time now and September 25th is almost here. Now we have a look at how we are going to be crafting our Pathfinder character here and it truly looks like Owlcat Games has taken their time to make sure we have the same feel as if we were sitting around a table with friends. Even if we do not get the full array of options that we would if we went pen and paper. I hope that Deep Silver sill helps them to be able to add as much as possible to truly give us all the options.
That all said, there is also a nice focus on how replayable that Pathfinder: Kingmaker can be. I say can be as even the developers understand that our time can be a factor, but the still added in all kinds of options to allow for it. We also will not be forced to go down specific paths and stereotypes that are usually there in games like this. Your Halfling does not always need to be a rogue and you do not always need to take fully rounded party out with you. I do not think having a full party of wizards is the best way to go at it, but it is an option if you so want. If only I could fully rebuild all of the current characters in my Pathfinder: Kingmaker tabletop and see how they would fair in this version.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker — Character Creation
Confused by the cornucopia of Clerics, muddled with the myriad of Mages, or befuddled by the barrage of Barbarians?
Then this closer look at some of the Character Creation options should help.
Are you fully read for Pathfinder: Kingmaker to hit our PCs next week or do you still need time to be prepared for it all? What will be your race and class option to start with and how will you fill out your party in general? Do you think that we can see this get fully expanded to offer up all the options in the tabletop version or will we get a few more classes and races with a few more stories to build with? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Pathfinder: Kingmaker, if there is more, we will have it here for you. Just be sure to keep checking back in here for all of that in the coming days.
