by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 13th of August 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week The week is over now and we can all focus a bit more on our video games that we have had sitting at home this whole time. At least for those that work a "normal" work schedule out there. No matter the case, we had a solid week with so many things for the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy game out there and video games like Evil Genius 2 heading to the consoles now. It was also an oddly filled week with more VR titles like Blair Witch and Synth Riders heading out there for us all to enjoy if we have the hardware. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of August 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Pathfinder A new look at the gameplay features coming to Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous offers up more of the Pathfinder fun for all gamers There has been a whole lot to cover for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous as of late and with good reason too. There is a whole lot going on in the game that Owlcat Games needs us to know before starting in on September 2nd and then there are all of the other fun things to look at. That is part of what we have here as we see more of the usual for Pathfinder in the features with the character-building system and kingdom systems that we had from Kingmaker coming back. Both of which are fully involved ways to build things as we see in the tabletop version of the IP. Read More...

If not, then they get to keep reading on about titles like Grime, Stray and Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous that we all had some fun with this week in regards of updates. That or wait until the start of next week when all of those free video games on the PlayStation and Xbox will drop to give us all more to stay inside for. Read More...

Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous Is Changing Things Up For The Visuals
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 28th of July 2021 - 09:00 PM ]
Pathfinder New changes are coming to Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous to further the game beyond Pathfinder: Kingmaker had before for us It should not be that big of a surprise to hear that Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is aiming to build upon the best part of the previous title that Owlcat Games put out there before. It is how we can keep things in the industry flowing and make sure that we are not just getting the same games over and over. That and a way to let some of the teams out there shine a bit more with the technology that is being used for it all. Read More...

This Week In Video Games 6/28/21 — 7/2/21
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 2nd of July 2021 - 11:00 PM ]
Video Games A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week There we go and finish out his week with a few of those stragglers that we out there from the previous big weeks for all of these video games. Not to say that we did not have some good ones here, but after loads were blown during E3, it usually dries up and we have to go about picking up the rest of the pieces out there. Like for Pathfinder, Chernobylite and Doom Eternal. They did have some great showings during the event but these following weeks will always be a bit slower for the big news in video games. Pathfinder A new developer diary for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous offers a look at how Drezen is built and preps us for this Pathfinder to hit the consoles It looks as if our assumptions were correct and we will be seeing Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X at some point after it launches on the PC. It is still poised for its initial release date for September 2nd of this year, so expect Owlcat Games to have it ready to hit the consoles sometime after that. Hands-On — Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 5th of May 2021 - 07:00 PM ]
Pathfinder We sit down for some hands-on time with Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous to see just how this new Pathfinder title is evolving the IP and gameplay up to now There is a beta going on for a select group of gamers out there who want to see how Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is shaping up and how it will further expand upon the gameplay experiences set for with Kingmaker a few years ago. That was a title that was met with some mixed feelings out of the gat, but Owlcat Games was able to start to correct many of those and look to bring them fully into the core of this title. That and add a whole lot of new things to this Pathfinder outing on the PC. Read More...

Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous Is Heading Into An Alpha Test
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 1st of May 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Pathfinder Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is heading into an alpha state and we have a look at a bit of the gameplay this Pathfinder game will bring It looks as if there is an alpha test coming up for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous for those who helped fund this version of the game. This may not be news to those that have already thrown down for the game and secured the fact that Owlcat Games is going to get it done. The big reason it is being brought up now is that you still have a chance to throw down for this Pathfinder entry through various means and get it on said alpha test. If you are still on the fence for it all, though, you can see a bit on how it is flowing right now on the PC. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 4th of February 2020 - 10:00 PM ]
Pathfinder The Kickstarter for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous is now open and we have a bit more to see for how this will expand the Pathfinder video games We all knew it was coming and now the Kickstarter is up and running for Pathfinder: Wrath Of The Righteous so we can help fund the extra parts that the team might not be able to do on their own. As of right now, Owlcat Games has the funding to complete the game but it might not be in the best form or have everything that we want in there. This is why they have opened up the campaign and are looking for extra funding. Read More...
