A new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake is here out of The Game Awards and shows us more for Final Fantasy VII’s main man It was a bit of a surprise but not truly, as we had a new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake out of The Game Awards this year. It felt like the right place for it to be since we have not had a good trailer from Square Enix for the game in a good clip of time. With March 3rd rolling up a lot faster than many can believe, we need to see more and experience what the first part of this version of Final Fantasy VII will hold for us on the PS4. Do remember that this is going to be given out in parts and not the full game in one spot, sadly. Read More...

A lot has gone on this week in video games. Here is a recap of what we covered in the world of video games on the site this week This was a huge week for video games and gamers in general. Sure, we had The Game Awards with all of its announcements, but we also had the big bombshell that a new BioShock is on the way. Oh, and Hellblade 2 is actually going to be a thing on the newly shown off Xbox Series X system. More video games had their announcement too with Resident Evil 3 being a real thing and then the reviews for Ancestors and Terminator. Read More...

The release date for Maneater is now set down and we will get to play Maneater this coming May on all of the platforms Over the last few years, we have been getting little bits for Maneater here and there with some solid showings out at E3 and then again at The Game Awards last night. It has been an interesting run from Blindside Interactive and Tripwire Interactive to get to where it is now. It also looks like things have only done more to progress and further for us to all get ready to play this shaRkPG on the PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It has progressed so much that we now have a release date for Maneater and we will get to play it all on May 22nd of 2020. Read More...

A follow up to the acclaimed Hellbade is coming as we just had the announcement of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 at The Game Awards It looks like we not only have one of the first Xbox Series X titles announced, but also a follow up to one of the more interesting titles of 2017 as Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is coming now. One of the bigger and more surprising announcements during The Game Awards for myself as Ninja Theory is bringing this amazing IP back for us. Even if it does seem to be limited to the specific console now. Read More...

Have a little tease of the Joker for Mortal Kombat 11 just before the time when he will officially join the roster for Mortal Kombat 11 next year There was never any confusion on if the Joker was going to head over to Mortal Kombat 11 at some point as he has been part of the DLC list for a while now. Not many seemed to be overly thrilled about it, but it was one of the characters that it seemed NetherRealm Studios has been amped about for a while so he was included while others were left out. Now, fresh from The Game Awards, we have our first little tease of the character to take in. Read More...

We sit down and review Terminator: Resistance. Another entry into the dark and foreboding future story. Here is our review of Terminator: Resistance There has been another resurgence of the Terminator with a new film that hit screens not too long ago and also a new video game that also hit digital stores recently too. Both semi-linked to each other via the main lore of the franchise, but for now we are going to follow with the title that was made by Teyon and out there on the PC currently. A game we had the pleasure of sitting down and spending some time with and are now ready to unleash our thoughts on. Read More...

If you were curious on where the concept for Death Stranding came from, look no further as we now have an explanation on how Death Stranding came to be Since it was first announced, there has been a lot of questions about what Death Stranding was about and it has even progressed further into the realm after it launched and gamers had a chance to experience it on the PS4. It is a weird game and is definitely not for everyone, but it seems like there was a better thought process behind its creation than Kojima Productions wanting to just make a game. I am sure that was part of it, but it is interesting to know that the idea for Death Stranding had been floating around in the mind of the director for some time and all based on a trip to a museum. Battle royale game, Spellbreak, will soon be adding the worlds of the PS4 to the magical realms we will be able to fight from when joining the fight of Spellbreak Earlier in the year some PC gamers out there had a chance to take a look at Spellbreak and the new style of battle royale that Proletariat aimed to bring the world. It was all through a nice little alpha test over on the Epic Store and there and it looks like things have been progressing well. Especially since now we have word that PS4 gamers will be able to join in the fun of Spellbreak this coming Spring as a closed beta heads over there. Read More...

We sit down and review Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. A survival game that aims to take us through the creation of humans. Here is our review of Ancestors It seems more and more that video games are used in more ways than just entertainment and here we go with another that aims to educate in a way with Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. Well, not really educate in the normal means when we get those kinds of video games, but in a way where Panache Digital Games takes us on the long journey to where we all are today. That is at the core of things for Ancestors, as well as a survival game that pits us against a prehistoric world. Read More...

The release date for Dreams has been officially set, as Dreams will be exiting its Early Access in February of 2020 For a good chunk of the year, Dreams has been out there on the PS4 in an Early Access form for players to help shape the game and also have the experience that is coming with it. It has been a weird thing going since as it was one of the first major versions of a paid Early Access on the platform but it seems to have worked out well. I say this as we now have word that the Dreams is leaving its early access and Media Molecule will be giving us all the experience in a full form this February. Read More...

The release date for Predator: Hunting Grounds is set down for April and we have a look at the various types of Predator we will get It looks like April is filling up with all kinds of titles as it looks like Predator: Hunting Grounds is hitting the PS4 on the 24th of April 2020 and adding to the asymmetrical shooter genre. All of which also came out during the State Of Play event where IllFonic offered up this release date as well as a new trailer for the game. The usual we have been seeing here as of late, but this one offers up a fun twist as it looks like there will be a few different types of Predator out there on the hunting grounds. Read More...

An updated cover for Final Fantasy VII Remake shows that other platforms may get a chance to experience Final Fantasy VII in 2021 I know there were a few of you out there that were not too happy to hear that Final Fantasy VII Remake was only going to be heading to the PS4 when it launches on March 3rd next year. More so given that Square Enix has been trying to place all of their games on as many platforms as possible as of late. With that said, get ready for some semi-good news as it does look like Final Fantasy VII Remake could be heading to other platforms in the future. Read More...

New gameplay for Babylon’s Fall is here to give us all a feel for what we can expect from Babylon’s Fall before next year Talk about another surprise during the State Of Play here as we now have a bit more gameplay out there for Babylon’s Fall. This would be that title that was announced back in 2018 during the Square Enix presentation that Platinum Games is working on and now shown off again for the PS4 and PC today. With another longer wait set as more for Babylon’s Fall will not be given out until the Summer of 2020. This, of course, makes one wonder why we even had anything now, but we will all take what we can when it comes to a bunch of knights fighting each other with “spectral swords. Read More...

The rumored Resident Evil 3 Remake is officially coming and with it will be coming Resident Evil Resistance very soon We had the rumors that Resident Evil 3 Remake was in the works and it looks like it is all officially announced during the State Of Play event held by Sony today. Not a huge surprise that it was announced there as it was the PlayStation Store that started all of the rumors that Capcom had to hold off until today. Now we know it is all coming and will not be named anything more than Resident Evil 3 as it drops all of the other subtitles it has had before. But do not fret, it will still house the Nemesis and star Jill. Read More...

The newest character for Tekken 7 has been given a showcase with Fahkumram being the next DLC fighter coming to Tekken 7 soon-ish Look no further for the next character that will be heading toward Tekken 7 here as we now have a visual to go along with it. Here we have Fahkumram that will be bringing his Muay Thai style into the fight via the Season Pass DLC that Bandai Namco is still rolling out. We are in the third season of it all and have four more characters getting added into Tekken 7 when all is said and done. One more is to hit the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions soon but for now we will focus on the next character shown off and to come at a later date as everything rolls out. Read More...
