Mafia & Mafia II Have New Screenshots For The Definitive Editions

Mafia

Screenshots are out there for the Mafia and Mafia II Definitive Edition that will most likely be part of the Trilogy

We just had word that a Mafia: Trilogy edition is on the way and now we have a look at how the earlier two titles will be handled and available on their own here. That is the assumption here given the new listings that showed up on a few digital stores out there and removed by 2K Games before it made a huge splash. More so as it looks like the Mafia II: Definitive Edition should be hitting the systems on May 19th and the full remake of the original title by August 28th. Most likely signaling that the Trilogy will be out there between those two dates. Maybe. I think? I guess we will see here soon-ish.

Yes, it looks like the original Mafia is getting a full remake to bring it over to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here. Just as we assumed here on the site and now we have some screenshots to show us just how well the team did to make it look like it could have been on the current-gen systems and not one from two generations ago. Then we get to look at how Mafia II has been given a remaster to bring it up to snuff here for the current-gen systems. All of which making it possible to play the franchise in reverse order right now and until the release of the original title's remake. Kind of an interesting thing to see here.
