Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time Is Officially Coming This October
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 22nd of June 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A true sequel for Crash Bandicoot is coming as we have the announcement of Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time coming this year It was leaked and now it is here, with Crash Bandicoot: It’s About Time getting a full announcement and showing for us to get excited for. Weirdly it will be hitting the PS4 and Xbox One on October 2nd instead of making the run for the next-gen, but it does make a little bit of sense. We are getting a new Crash Bandicoot title, so I will take it and love it. More so when we get to see how some of the masks and gameplay will be shifting us through various things and times in the same whacky story we have known for years. Read More...

The Mafia: Trilogy Is Mostly Out There Now With Some Fun Gameplay
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 19th of May 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
Mafia New trailers for all three Mafia titles in the Mafia: Trilogy are here to help show off what you can play now and then in the slight future It looks like all of those dates we found before for all of the Mafia titles have been confirmed as the second and third titles are out there in their definitive editions with the first one still to come on August 28th. Something that I am not sure why 2K Games and Hangar 13 held on to for a weird reveal as they bring all of the titles to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC here. Confusing as it is, you can currently pick up the Mafia: Trilogy and single versions of the third and second title as you are reading this. Read More...

Mafia & Mafia II Have New Screenshots For The Definitive Editions
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Friday, 15th of May 2020 - 09:00 PM ]
Mafia Screenshots are out there for the Mafia and Mafia II Definitive Edition that will most likely be part of the Trilogy We just had word that a Mafia: Trilogy edition is on the way and now we have a look at how the earlier two titles will be handled and available on their own here. That is the assumption here given the new listings that showed up on a few digital stores out there and removed by 2K Games before it made a huge splash. More so as it looks like the Mafia II: Definitive Edition should be hitting the systems on May 19th and the full remake of the original title by August 28th. Most likely signaling that the Trilogy will be out there between those two dates. Read More...

Dark Souls Another collector’s edition has hit the market for the Dark Souls Trilogy to hurt your bank as much as Dark Souls hurts you in the game It has not been that long since the Dark Souls Trilogy launched on the PS4 and Xbox One. If you are a huge fan of the franchise and what FromSoftware is doing, then you most likely picked it all up again to play through all of the titles. Now, almost three months after that launch to the Dark Souls line it looks like Bandai Namco will be offering fans a new collector's edition for the game. This seems like an odd move to do, but if you have a spare £449. Read More...

Spyro Reignited Trilogy Is A Rumor No More & Coming This September
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of April 2018 - 05:00 PM ]
Spyro Official word has come down that Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming to us all and will house the first three Spyro titles in remastered form Rumor no more as Spyro Reignited Trilogy has been announced and will be the nice big remastered package of these original games for us all. Most of the rumors we had heard so far have been about spot on, except that the games are being remastered by Toys For Bob instead. It will house the first three Spyro titles all rebuilt from the ground up and coming at us in the HD quality that the PS4 and Xbox One can currently push out there. It is not mentioned directly by Activision, but I am guessing it will be 1080p for the base models of the consoles and 4K for the Pro and X versions of the systems. Read More...

Sane Trilogy that is coming to the PS4 on June 30th has just been dropped and it is another massive bit. We've had a few teases given out from Activision over the last few weeks, but here it looks like Vicarious Visions has opted to sit down and dole out close to a half-hour demo of the titles in the bundle and we all get to sit back and watch. It also looks like they didn't stick to just one title in the Crash Bandicoot franchise that will be part of this new bundled remaster, so there is a lot to take in on top of all of that. by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 10th of May 2017 - 09:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot Two new videos for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy have popped up to give us a feel for how the original Crash Bandicoot games have been updated So far we've seen what the updates for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will look like and how some of the levels have been altered to handle better and not just look better. We are talking some very old games here that Vicarious Visions is bringing back to us and it isn't something as easy as a texture swap to get the levels and characters looking as they do on the PS4. Some gamers out there don't have a good frame of reference though for where Crash Bandicoot is coming from and what has truly gone into the update that Activision is bringing us. Read More...

by Jana Lass [ Monday, 20th of February 2017 - 06:00 PM ]
Crash Bandicoot A release date for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been set and it looks like June will be when we dive back into these three Crash Bandicoot titles in HD Get ready to clear some calendar space as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has finally be given a release date to look forward to and that would be June 30th now. This would be the latest HD collection that Vicarious Visions has been remastering for Activision and it is coming for the PS4. While I know many gamers out there would have rather had a full and new Crash Bandicoot title, at least this is a start and a nice little slice of nostalgia for all of those hardcore fans of the IP as well as the PlayStation name.
