More gameplay for Spyro Reignited Trilogy is here to show us just how the games have been updated and altered since their first release seemingly so long ago. Toys For Bob has been doing some great work so far and now we get to see just how the second title in the franchise is shaping up. At least in terms of the Idol Springs level of Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage as that is what we have here on the PS4 to look at today. I am sure it will look the same on the Xbox One version of the game as well, but I figured I would let you know before you start looking at it all. Just be glad you do not have to wait until September 21st to see how it is all going.
A few interesting points here for the Spyro Reignited Trilogy is that the team has taken scans of all of the original titles to fully recreate, at least as best as possible, the titles that Activision brought us from before. Now that the hardware has been advanced to be able to produce some of the more realistic environmental effects, why not go for it? You can see that in the grass and other things that Spyro is moving through and setting aflame. It is not photorealistic at all, but it is very fitting for the franchise and titles here. At least now that we can.
