The War Against Hell Ends Here In DOOM Eternal Last DLC
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 17th of March 2021 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The conclusion to the DOOM Eternal saga is coming here and we get to see a bit more for DOOM Eternal — The Ancient Gods – Part Two We have waited and now we are heading to the next big release for DOOM Eternal as of March 18th. That would be tomorrow for those reading this live and it will be a short wait to be able to see how id Software is going to wrap up this little saga we have been ripping our way through so far. This could also be the end of it all for the DOOM Slayer as he aims to take down Hell for the last time. I have a feeling this could be the end of it for this version of the game and until we get the next full release, but this is the final DLC that we will get to enjoy in this iteration. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 1st of February 2021 - 10:00 PM ]
Eternal Threads New details for Eternal Threads are out there to better explain how we will manipulate the timeline of Eternal Threads to get the best outcome Here we go with a new and refreshing twist on a video game mechanic we have seen a few times, as Eternal Threads offers up a new way to work the time flow. For those that need some background, this would be the title coming out of Cosmonaut Studios that is a first-person narrative game that starts telling the story from the ending. In Eternal Threads it will be up to us to figure out how to alter the timeline and get different effects so we can help make the choices that lead to all characters living. Read More...

by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 10th of August 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The first single-player DLC for DOOM Eternal is coming and we will get to see the DOOM Slayer taking on some new areas in the universe It is no secret that we knew that DOOM Eternal was going to be getting some single-player DLC coming soon for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We had some screenshots come out before to let us all know and now we are back with a new teaser trailer to see from id Software. It is a weird cycle we are going to be getting here for DOOM Eternal with so many teases that do not feel needed, but it is something new to see and keep us going, I guess. At least this new trailer we have does show we will be going to new areas in the universe and not just some recycled bits from before. Read More...

Review — DOOM Eternal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Wednesday, 25th of March 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
DOOM We sit down and review DOOM Eternal. The fast-paced, demon-killing, franchise is back with some new surprises. Here is our review of DOOM Eternal Some of us are sanitizing our homes and others are Satanizing our homes with the launch of DOOM Eternal. The next big installment to the franchise from id Software that aims to keep us all knees deep in demonic viscera and gore. At least in a virtual way on the PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch. The DOOM IP has been a staple out there for first-person shooters and now we get to see if it is going to keep us entertained in these trying times or hoping for the good old days of other FPS titles. DOOM Eternal Gives Us A Taste Of Some Of Those In-Game Events
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 17th of March 2020 - 07:00 PM ]
DOOM A new developer diary for DOOM Eternal shows us a bit on how those in-game events will play out along with the idea behind those DOOM cosmetics In only a few days, many of us will be able to dive into what DOOM Eternal has for us in single-player and multiplayer. March 20th is going to be a day of saving many of us from boredom and take us into a virtual Hell instead of what we are still dealing with here. It is also nice to know that id Software put a whole lot of work into the online social aspect of the game before we were forced into keeping things in that arena. More so than just earning all of the cool little cosmetics for DOOM Eternal and streaming the high-paced action to all of those sitting around without it. Read More...

The Great Slayer Is About To Launch Into Motion For DOOM Eternal
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 12th of March 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM The last trailer for DOOM Eternal is here to offer up a final look at what is still to come in this DOOM title launching next week In just over a week from now we are going to be fingers deep into DOOM Eternal and all of the mayhem it is going to allow us to partake in. Excitement could not be higher to get that fun escape into Hell and shoot everything up. I am certain this is not the type of scenario that id Software was looking toward when setting the March 20th release date, but keeping us all inside with some high-intensity gameplay is going to be the distraction our community truly needs. It is definitely what we are about to get to if the latest trailer for DOOM Eternal is anything to go by as well. Read More...

DOOM Eternal Will Let You Customize Your Slayer In Some Fun Ways
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Tuesday, 10th of March 2020 - 05:00 PM ]
DOOM A new look at how DOOM Eternal will allow us to customize our DOOM Slayer in various ways with some awesome and some funny as Hell If you wanted it or not, DOOM Eternal is going to let us all alter the look of our slayer in the game through various means. Kind of an odd thing to think about for a first-person shooter where all we normally see in the hands, but it is something that id Software is adding in for us to unlock and have fun with. I mean, there is going to be a photo mode in DOOM Eternal, so that will allow us in single-player to see more of our alterations. Although, I am certain that this feature is going to be something that gets more highlights in the Battlemode where you will be able to see each other's slayers out there. Read More...

DOOM Eternal Is Giving Us One Heavy Soundtrack
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Thursday, 5th of March 2020 - 08:00 PM ]
DOOM A new behind the scenes video for DOOM Eternal offers up a fun look at how some of the soundtrack and audio for DOOM Eternal was created To date, we have seen some fairly heavy and visceral visuals for DOOM Eternal with some heavy music going on in the background. What some of us may not have caught on to is that id Software is using one of those usually overlooked aspects of games to a much better degree. I am talking about the music and audio for the game in terms of much more than the gunshots and demonic grunts that DOOM has always been known for. Now we have a good look at how the teams have captured some of this audio we will be hearing out of our PS4, Switch, Xbox One, or PC on March 23rd here. Read More...
