The Ancient Gods Are Coming Soon For DOOM Eternal

DOOM

The first single-player DLC for DOOM Eternal is coming and we will get to see the DOOM Slayer taking on some new areas in the universe

It is no secret that we knew that DOOM Eternal was going to be getting some single-player DLC coming soon for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. We had some screenshots come out before to let us all know and now we are back with a new teaser trailer to see from id Software. It is a weird cycle we are going to be getting here for DOOM Eternal with so many teases that do not feel needed, but it is something new to see and keep us going, I guess. At least this new trailer we have does show we will be going to new areas in the universe and not just some recycled bits from before.

Yes, we are going to get some new areas in the DOOM universe to take the Slayer to. It was assumed that we were going to be getting some new story in the bits we have already seen and played, but that is not the case here. It could have been through one way or another given the history of Bethesda, but now we have solid word on this. It does not look like we are getting any new demons in the DOOM universe as of yet, but baby steps and all that. Maybe we will when we get the first full trailer for this DLC along with a release date or window to look for. All of which should be coming soon-ish.

DOOM Eternal — The Ancient Gods, Part One

Prepare to wage war with Hell’s armies once again as the DOOM Slayer in DOOM Eternal’s first single-player campaign expansion.

Your victory over the hordes of Hell spared Earth from a perilous, demon-infested fate, but saving humanity has upset the delicate balance of power in the heavens.

Travel to previously uncharted realms of the DOOM universe and confront a new challenge head-on when The Ancient Gods, Part One releases for DOOM Eternal later this year.

Are you ready for some new DLC to come here for DOOM Eternal or did you have to put the game down for now? Where do you think we will go in the universe here and will we get to see some new demons in the mix of it all too? Does this make it feel like we will be going into other dimensions or will it all stay in the same universe we know and love? Let us all know down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss it all below. When we have more to share for DOOM Eternal, we will do so. Just be sure to keep coming back here for all of that and much more.
