DOOM
The latest update for DOOM Eternal brings us all of the truly next-gen upgrades for DOOM Eternal with a few other extras mixed in
The wait is finally over and now we can hop onto the PS5 and Xbox Series X again to fully enjoy more of what DOOM Eternal has to offer. Not in a backward play capability, but in its full glory with the latest update that id Software has tossed out there for us to give us all that truly next-gen gaming we crave. As of right now, you can download this new update for DOOM Eternal to your system, or it has already been done in the background, and be able to spin the game up in one of its three new gaming modes. All so you can experience the blood and gore like we always should be; in the highest definition and framerate possible for us to. You do not have to take my word for it, but take the word that we have it so you can go check it out on your screens at home if you are so inclined to do here.
This new update adds in a new Performance mode, Balanced Mode, and Ray Tracing mode for us to select from in DOOM Eternal now. Performance will give us those graphics in 1800p at 120 fps to give us some extra smoothness in the arenas. Balanced will give us those 4K at 60 fps that we always crave so much out there, and then Ray Tracing will do about what you think, adding that tech in for some amazing lighting and reflections also at 1800p at 60fps. Now we just need to make sure that our screens can handle everything that DOOM Eternal will put out there. That might be the only hiccup many are going to have as these visuals keep improving over time with the hardware again. At least you can see how it could look down below without the need of buy all the fancy hardware for now.

Are you ready to hop back in the body of the DOOM Slayer with these upgrades or do you need to upgrade your hardware to experience it all? Is this a weird resolution to have for two of the modes here or will that just always be needed to keep up with how fast the game is going and what needs to be rendered? How do you think the haptic triggers will work in the game here and will it be closer to what we have experienced lately with some other native PS5 titles? Give us all of that feedback and more down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all there. If there is anything more for DOOM Eternal, we will share it all here. Just be sure to keep checking back for it all and much more as we advance forward in time.
