I'll paste it below for you. from: Capcom Entertainment [pr@capcom.com] to: Hades [DavidB@pwned.com] date: Mon, Dec 8, 2008 at 2:16 PM subject: It came from Kijuju It came from Kijuju. Only A Year Late...
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of December 2008 - 06:32 PM ]
PlayStation fiends finally get a second life One of the big rumors and let downs, so far, for Sony has been their new "Social Network" program, Home. It has had so many rumors about when the mass populace will be able to get their hands on it, it has made a lot of people stop caring about it. To top that off, Sony's very limited "Beta" for the program has also left a lot feeling left out. Don't worry you people, there isn't much that you are missing. Just having the early download. Game Over!
by David 'Hades' Becker [ Monday, 8th of December 2008 - 06:18 PM ]
Exclusive Saw The Video Game Update So over a month ago, I reported on a game adaptation of the Film Saw. I was really excited, but reports are coming in that it was just given the cut, pardon the pun, much like 20 people from Brash Entertainment. A very sad thing, for both those 20 and the gaming community. Hey, it is always bad when a game that could be awesome gets cut. At least I thought it would be awesome. Read More…

With us coming out of beta, members will now be allowed to redeem the Pwned Points they accumulate by using the site. On top of that, we will introduce a site redesign, along with many new features and imporvements. Read More…

The Desert Bus for hope
by Cameron [ Wednesday, 3rd of December 2008 - 09:54 PM ]
The Guys at LoadingReadyRun are doing it again. They are playing the infamous Desert Bus game as long as they can for charity.  Supported by Geoff from Pure Pwnage, Felicia Day from "The Guild", Will Wheaton from Star Trek The Next Generation, and Tycho from Penny-Arcade the boys (and some girls I'm assuming) are playing the game Desert Bud for as long as they can. The more you donate the longer they play the mind numbing game. At the time of writing they have managed to raise nearly 60 thousand dollars. Read More…

"SACK IT TO ME"...Weekly Answers to the LBP Community's Questions As has been the buzz around the net and the PS Forum boards, moderation on user created levels has been out of control on the LBP servers. Like crazy to the point where some levels that have no offensive materials or copy written materials have been removed. With no explanation as well. To me this is really hampering one of the best features of this game. Read More…

[360 Review] Need for Speed Undercover
by [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2008 - 06:25 AM ]
Racing titles are ever-evolving. With the intoduction of the open world to the genre, it has seemed that subsequent titles especially after Burnout Paradise have followed suit. While Burnout Paradise was a glowing example of the open world mechanic done right, many of the games it has inspired have been less-than-stellar entries to their respective franchises. The latest evidence of this is Need for Speed Underground. While it aspires to be a “thrilling”, open exercise in evading the cops and rising above the ranks, it falls short in a number of ways, making the other racing contenders available right now the better choice, most definitely. Uncharted 2 Revealed
by Jesse [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2008 - 06:15 AM ]
Since the days of the original PlayStation, the holy trinity of Sony exclusive developers, Insomniac Games, Naughty Dog, and Sucker Punch have always worked hard to produce amazing, wholly original content for the various Sony consoles. Today it was first revealed by Game Informer that Naughty Dog, creators of Crash Bandicoot and Jak & Daxter are working on a follow-up to their hugely popular PS3 title Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune. The sequel titled Uncharted 2: Among Thieves follows Nathan Drake on an adventure involving the voyages of 13th century explorer Marco Polo. While new characters and locations are expected, it was also announced that a new free climbing mechanic and new stealth sections will be incorporated into the game. Read More…

Got 100K?
by Cameron [ Tuesday, 2nd of December 2008 - 12:47 AM ]
Turns out Sumner Redstone has sold his controlling stake of Midway games for US$100 thousand. This equates to $0.0012 per share. Talk about a black friday deal. Redstone has sold his 87% of Midway for $100,000 to Mark Thomas  on the condition he picks up the $70 million dollar debt the company is in right now. As you should know Midway is most recognised for it's Mortal Kombat which was once a very controversial title in which you could rip your opponents still beating heart out. Even new iterations of Mortal Kombat haven't provided enough cash to sustain the company which has lost nearly half a billion dollars in the last five years and has been under constant threat of losing it NYSE listing. Every game has a following, with some more fanatical than others. A group of Half-Life fans have taken it upon themselves to fully remake Half-life to run on the Source Engine. by Michael Camacho [ Monday, 1st of December 2008 - 09:09 PM ]
Over in Japan, a super rare Famicom (NES) title has sold at auction for over ¥401,010, which converts to roughly $4,250. The title of said game is Kikenbutsu no Yasashii Butsuri to Kagaku, or “The Tender Physics & Science of Explosive Materials”. While it sounds like it could possibly be of eroge nature, it sadly is not. It was used in training for employees of Idemitsu Kosan Ltd.and developed by well known publisher Konami. Read More…
